damn i was trying with 17134.1 LP files, but i have the 17134.5 build, lots of time wasted..... i'm still complaining about the 80x25 size .. why not go at 160 x 50 ??? to have more complete / longer questions / answers / error sentences
The only thing that seems missing in v8.3 is the removal of Windows Defender, SmartScreen and People for 17134.1 Right? Thanks for your hard work!
well I make modifications in V8.3 simply changing all instances of 17133 to 17xxx and works fine; but is my personal option so who want also make is for your own risk
Its probably a good idea to wait for a CU or 2 before jumping on RS4 anyway so just chill and wait for the new toolkit build.
Nobody has Windows Defender, SmartScreen and People removal working currently. It requires work on MSMGs part, not something you can easily update / make work.
Usually, but people sometimes have corner case setups. Typically I do not move any of the PCs I am responsible for to the new build for a CU or 2 so that is what I recommend. I get what you are saying though and in most cases you are absolutely right.
@MSMG ToolKit 8.3 Multi ISO when there is no defunct revision number, there are no warnings: and add at this stage the opportunity to go back.
downloaded the 1803 image using heidoc.net iso download tool. which uses MS servers. not encrypted. works fine with msmg ahh cause its the old build, 17133.1
I have succesfully made a "Lite" Windows 10 Pro 1803.17134.5 using MSMG Toolkit. - Thanks again - Removed all possible but Windows Defender and Hyper V. - No errors into event viewer - Problem: I have no clue to disable All Windows defender components as I installed Avast. Since then, I have got BSOD three times (Bad Pool Header) related to antivirus. The old tricks using Group Policy did not block the new WD and Guard. Does anyone has more info about what I can do to stop completely Windows Defender an Guard ? Thanks
@ALL Updated Media Feature Pack and WinPE Language Packs (Still missing few files which are in MSDN LP ISO) for Windows 10 1803 Editions. I have just finished processing the data for ToolKitHelper.exe for Windows Component Removal (Defender, SmartScreen, PeopleExperienceHost, Telemetry). Still need to combine the W10 Pro 1803 mui x86+x64 data along with the Core & N Edition differences and then will start the actual coding which may take few more days.
