Now all gud but i have one more question do i have to download all packs like media pack aur internet expolor if i dont want them ?
msmg toolkit doesn't add anything to windows that isn't already there. its main purpose is to remove things you don't want. you can add things like drivers, windows updates so if you don't want IE or things like windows media player or xbox game related stuff. fo sho, you can remove them. just experiment and keep a untouched copy of the iso. wim files just in case. you'll probably do things out of order or screw it up a few times before you get it
After i covert esd to wim and removing stuff is i have to again convert wim to esd to make iso or i can go with wim and make iso?
i use multioem addons for customizing and blocking telemetry: MRPconfig and wintel.cmd and blockadverts.cmd but i don't know which line is responsible for those settings to be disabled
@mxman2k posted the reason in MRP thread. That feature is only available for online accounts (MSA) not for offline ones.
yeah i posted this also on that thread, i think i shouldn't use MRPconfig.ini along with blockadverts.cmd, only one of them should be used,
After remove Telemetry Windows Update not finding drivers for all my devices. Anybody else can confirm that?
I downloaded the latest 1803 image which has far more versions that I'm interested in. I only want Win10 Home/Pro. It might be a smaller image, but it'd definitely process faster using the "*" option. I can do it in NTLite, but wanted to see if MSMG could, I tried looking through the menu's and didn't see it. Thanks for the tool and all the support!
8 [Tools] > [1] Wim Manager > [3] Delete > enter the range for the indices to be deleted. When finished deleting the indices, go to [6] Apply and [1] Rebuild Source Images. Or just export Home and Pro to a new install.wim, it won't decrease the size of the install.wim significantly though.
@Enthousiast, Thank you! I need my eyes checked. My biggest interest was the speed to process and not having to do it for each interested index.
You can select multiple indices at once to be serviced in one run. I just did the test and exported the home and pro index to a new install.wim and it was appr. 300MB smaller. Full AIO x64 consumer install, wim: 3,69 GB (3.966.509.125 bytes) Home & Pro x64 only install.wim: 3,39 GB (3.645.900.508 bytes) Probably due to different winre.wim files inside the indices.
Defender does not take hardly any RAM (~2 MB,) and MS has a lot of things quicker than 3rd party. I use MS apps when possible, the exception being Chrome.
