IDK, personally I don't remove telemetry. I see no reason to.

 

I have no problems so ever but for those who want to use WU should not at this moment

 

as here my C:\ is always Root and another principal partition is HOME (off topic maybe)

 

People rip everything out of Windows, then complain it doesn't work. Just like chopping off someone's legs, then complaining he can't walk. SMH!

Not only but if we are sophisticated enough to build our own custom Windows images why are we relying on Windows updates?

I install CUs manually and integrate drivers directly into my image. These 2 steps make WU completely irrelevant.

 

I only use WU to download the CUs, i never download any drivers from WU, since their drivers are outdated (for example, my GTX 1060 drivers are from 2017 and my Audio Driver is from 2016), so i always download it manually.

 

Somebody put out a list of packages that are deleted with Telemetry (4-3-2-L)

 

Strange, now I don't have the default0 folder.

I have no clue. I don't use LTSB, plus it doesn't have xbox so why would you need it?

 

Yes, i used it to remove Windows Defender and remove some other things.

 

@MSMG Thanks for the tool.
With the latest update , everything works fine. Microphone works after removing media package. Even store app can be removed. Only issues is
1) With the removal of Telemetry , device drivers not updating through windows update. All other update CU, Flash Update and Defender update installs.
2) With telemetry, every thing works fine.
In both the situation i removed all metro app's including store.

Sorry, but how is ToolKitHelper run? I want to use it to remove some things like Telemetry, OneDrive and Biometrics. I don't know if I should use the normal method or not but it looks like ToolKitHelper removes more things. Maybe I should even remove the normal apps with it?
