I have removed Hyper-V from iso then install on my pc long ago but i need Hyper-V now... Is there a way to install Hyper-V ?
hello Did you remove also windows defender? Are still working windows update and automatic drivers update?
Hey, I did remove Defender but didn't remove Telemetry because from what I read at few last pages of the thread it can break some stuff (including automatic drivers update). Yet I haven't tested Windows Update because I always disable it and install everything manually (if needed), especially drivers (I don't like that despite I disable automatic driver update WU still installs unnecessary drivers like Intel Management Engine or Intel Chipset).
I have removed everything incl. telemetry, everything is buttery smooth, better than W7. The only thing is when i open 3D applications, it gives me an annoying popup that an app cannot be open, probably because store went missing EDIT: the popu tells ms-gamingoverlay ???? dunno what is this, but games do work
yeah i get that too, its from the game recorder thingy, still happens if you have store. @MSMG any chance adding a tweak to the twaeks list to stop/disable that popupin next version.
I've noticed most of you seems to favor Pro over LTSB. While this is out of the scope of MSMG, could some of you point me on some cue for this overall build preference ?
Of course, some of the people here like to have all junk reinstalled every 6 months. I don't do clean installs every 6 months and certainly don't like mandatory OS upgrades every 6 months. Moreover because those "upgrades" don't add any significant new functionality but do add more junk. That's why I use LTSB, it's that simple for me. Cheers.
Compatibility, performance and security improvements are not something to avoid. The toolkit allows the best of both world, clean install and more secure and stable core.
