yeah i get that too, its from the game recorder thingy, still happens if you have store. @MSMG any chance adding a tweak to the twaeks list to stop/disable that popupin next version.
I've noticed most of you seems to favor Pro over LTSB. While this is out of the scope of MSMG, could some of you point me on some cue for this overall build preference ?
Of course, some of the people here like to have all junk reinstalled every 6 months. I don't do clean installs every 6 months and certainly don't like mandatory OS upgrades every 6 months. Moreover because those "upgrades" don't add any significant new functionality but do add more junk. That's why I use LTSB, it's that simple for me. Cheers.
Compatibility, performance and security improvements are not something to avoid. The toolkit allows the best of both world, clean install and more secure and stable core.
- Integrated latest Cumulative Update (KB4103721) - Integrated network card driver - Removed everything in "Metro Apps but store - Removed everything in "Windows Components" - Removed everything in "Advanced Windows Components" - Applied few tweaks in Tweaks menu will not install app from windows store
Have seen that article for ages.. It's one year old. I never read any official statement from Microsoft. Maybe it can come sooner than next spring (2019) or fall (2019)... ?
It does. I used to stick to 1607, but I tested 1803 and I do like 1803 (1804?) more than 1607. I don't need Windows Store, so I always disable or remove it as well as all Metro Apps and other garbage. \ToolKit\Drivers\WinPE\w10\x64 -> "Integrate to Windows Setup Boot Image". \ToolKit\Drivers\Install\w10\x64 -> "Integrate to Windows Installation Image". First option is for drivers integration to boot image, i.e. for DURING Windows setup (installation) use. Second option is for drivers integration for install image, i.e. for POST Windows setup (after installation) use.
Right. Put your drivers into \ToolKit\Drivers\Install\w10\x64 and select "Integrate to Windows Installation Image". [2] Integrate to Windows Setup Install & Recovery Image.
