Thanks for the tip! So does it mean that's its safe to remove windows defender and smartscreen? The mention "Remove At Last" scares me about it!
Is it normal that if I remove any windows app like calculatoror photo, I have this error: the provisioned appx package doesn't exist I try to slim a bit more (and get rid of telemetry) on windows 10 LTSB thank you
Yes, it's safe. "Remove At Last" means that you should remove those components after you removed everything else.
thanks, will try again. if Asimov component has been remove, is there anyway to put it back on? I just don't want to start all over again. Thanks
If I want to integrate Windows Store into LTSB what do I need to integrate? Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp Microsoft.WindowsStore Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider Would it be this?
Thanks, in the topic with the abbodi1406 solution are these apps used but can not integrate into an offline image I think I need to use the MSMG Toolkit for this. My question is whether the Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider is really necessary since LTSB is Redstone 1. PS: I think I'll give up on this idea. Even with Windows Update disabled using group policy I think Windows uses the WU service to update the Store and the apps and this leaves the VM slow when searching for updates. I'm not sure if this is it but it's the same behavior as when I do search for updates. In Redstone 3 I do not have this problem. If I want the Store and/or updates I think I'll use RS3 or I'll go back to 8.1
@ AeonX well yesterday I discover one good thing related to EnterpriseS (or 2016 LTSB) this build NO need any tool for remove components or something all I want remove or disable is possible only using own components of Windows in another words for example if I don't want Windows Defender is simple only disable it via Control Panel or gpedit.msc and so on for Xbox is same thing My OS that I installed yesterday works like a charm no issues with Windows Update and for Store myself no need use it but if you want you can try Tool by GOD666 and others; still for severals components you can use Windows Firewall with advanced security and there block all desired "things" therefore is not necessary remove nothing only need make use of brain.
Store and other apps can be integrated without any issue, I do that all the time. Just be sure you download all the apps from the mega link provided. Cheers.
hehe but is true dude my OS works fine and after my install I use sfc/scannow 0 issues and also use Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealt 0 issues I think is sufficient
@Tiger-1 Normally I do not need the Store but would like to have this option ready to use if need be. I think it would be useful only for games that need this and maybe for some apps like Netflix (I do not even know if it works well). And LTSB really is quite lean. I have been using without removing anything just by disabling but I consider that my hardware is fairly good maybe in weaker hardware that makes a greater difference. But I have been testing with removals and I believe that having good judgment and removing the right things will not have problems. Some Windows components are not worth removing as they can easily cause problems. Some components are good to maintain because they may be required for certain programs. Anyway, it is not at all easy to get a stable system removing things, it is a test of patience and trial and error for a very long term.
