Hello dears!! Tool just super watching the development with version 6. Thanks to the developer! In the latest version, when removing Telemetry, defender and SmartScreen installation error appears, helps the following.... preload and continue the installation from the location from which you will be prompted! Sorry for my English))
Hello. So my last issue (updates not installing) got resolved once I used WHD. But I also have this other issue that Google Chrome browser lags while closing down. I have removed all metro apps except store and all components and advanced components except Telemetry and File Explorer. The (Click yes to run as admin) screen also lags a bit. What can be the issue?
Great project MSMG. I was wondering if there was a way to write a script or choose all the MSMG Toolkit options you want beforehand so the various tasks could run in one unattended step or fewer steps?
If you skip Removing Microsoft Unified Telemetry Client ^(Asimov^) Package, all will be ok you can remove -Customer Experience Improvement Program ^(CEIP^) Package -Windows Kernel Debugging Package -Microsoft Windows Error Reporting Packag and Sticky Notes will work
the reply was not for MSMG ( he made this possible ), but for the other people that want to use Sticky Notes and an clean w10
I did a fresh install and everything works fine, except I don't get Windows Photo Viewer in the default apps for Photos. I have deleted Photos app and made Photo Viewer default in MSMG. What should I do now?
so you did add the windows photo viewer in msmg and after you install windows, its not there as an option in the default menu?
Run this in an elevated cmd and it will put "sfcdetails.txt" on your desktop with the results of sfc /scannow: Code: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"
I ran that command and the instances of corrupt files were the following : 2018-08-27 13:3 1:17, Info CSI 000023d7 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\System32\en-US\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll.mui from store 2018-08-27 13:3 1:31, Info CSI 000026b8 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\System32\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll from store 2018-08-27 13:33:58, Info CSI 00004421 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\en-US\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll.mui from store 2018-08-27 13:34:04, Info CSI 00004565 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll from store 2018-08-27 13:34:44, Info CSI 00004d91 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\System32\en-US\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll.mui from store 2018-08-27 13:34:44, Info CSI 00004d93 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\en-US\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll.mui from store 2018-08-27 13:34:44, Info CSI 00004d95 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\System32\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll from store 2018-08-27 13:34:44, Info CSI 00004d97 [SR] Repairing corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\\OneDriveSettingSyncProvider.dll from store
I was having the same issue. I then reinstalled and this time didn't remove all 4 Advanced Windows Components which were marked as "Remove at last" and the issue resolved.
Yup. I previously removed everything except Store, File Explorer and Telemetry (due to Asimov bug). I was having this update issue and also some lag in Google Chrome.
Were you using the official latest ISO and did you remove any advanced components such as Windows Defender?
