@MSMG I'm using Toolkit v9.2 and I'm getting this app in my app defaults "IE ActiveX Interface Marshaling Library" after removing Internet Explorer in MSMG Toolkit, is this normal? can I remove this? Edit: After Installing Firefox, it was removed somehow!
First time in my life I used the "Work Folders" just to check. I remove [A] SmartScreen and [W] WindowsDefender without any problem so far. I think the problem is to leave the Defender since it has such an impact in performance.
Decided to stay on v1803 (17134.1), so I used the MSMG v8.8 to customize my W10. I followed exactly the steps on Readme.txt and the ISO was created successfully. I installed today just fine, but the SFC scan came dirty. Just left Telemetry, Edge and integrated NetFX 3.5 Everything else was removed. What am I missing here? Thanks
I am not using Work Folders either, but after creating a new image I am browsing most of settings/options to check if everything works properly. So, what about you? Do you experiencing freeze if you try to open it? Assuming that you removed A - AADBrokerPlugin and O - SettingSync. I am keeping SmartScreen and WindowsDefender because despite its flaws they are quite effective when it comes to system security and you don't use any AV software.
Yes my explorer.exe froze and needed to shut him down. and of course I removed A - AADBrokerPlugin and O - SettingSync. From Remove System Apps Menu I removed everything except [G] MapControl because I keep the Maps App and the only problem I had so far was the "Work Folders" incident.
It should be for developers to see what happens if their code runs directly into the kernel, debug = creating logs of things that go right or wrong
Yes, with the second Oct release image creation went without any problems, removing all Windows Apps and most of the rest of components (except two cases, when probably the removed components were dependent on each other, I've mentioned about it a few posts back). 17763.107 + Toolkit 9.2 = success.
