    When I attempted to perform the “[FONT=&amp]Dism /Image:x:\MSMG\ToolKit-v6.0\Mount\Install\ /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase” command as Administrator using a Host: Windows 7 Pro-x64 and a
Source: en_windows_10_enterprise_2016_ltsb_x64 the DISM command started AOK but at some point FAILed...

I checked the dism.log (96k) but I don’t have the knowledge to interpret the log info or remedy the issue…
    [/FONT][FONT=&amp]
Any advice to get this remedied would be appreciated…

I did NOT integrate any Updates but did remove ALL Components except Flash and IE and did NOT integrate Dotnetfx3.5
[/FONT][FONT=&amp]I had never attempted to perform these DISM commands before and was curious about it and since you recommended them, decided to give it a try while using ToolKit 6.0…[/FONT]

Did you modify the path to the mountfolder in the cmd line to match your situation?

    This part:

    Code:
    x:\MSMG\ToolKit-v6.0\Mount\Install\

I say this toolkit should be placed in github and everyone can improve it.

@biatche hmm is one alternative but I don't believe that is correct because and all work, big effort developed by MDL members, feedbacks, etc give this important tool for anybody around the world?? MSMG Toolkit need stay only for MDL members IMO ;)although we also need more patience with MSMG probable he have another things to think no only for MDL :g:

Thank you Enthousiast for troubleshooting this issue and finding the solution... I had a gut feeling it might be the version of ADK / DISM that Windows 7 uses by default... I will use the ADK for 14393 and try it again... :worthy::worthy::worthy:

    Edit: Some Feedback
Used the link you provided, downloaded & installed ADK for W10 14393... Worked flawlessly... :worthy:

@Enthousiast realy dude I also get error sometimes when working with Windows 7 as host and for some reason I find that working with any Windows 8.1 NO problems until now maybe some thing related to UWP; as also already tested Toolkit 6.3 with version 14393...and NO problems I believe are things of developers n00b as myself :p

This is not actually an (unexpected) error.

To be able to fully service win 8.x/10, with win 7 as host, you need some extra's installed, like the "deployment tools" for the windows to be serviced.

Many servicing tools (like MSMG Toolkit) provide their own files to accomplish it without the need for installing anything from the adk.

The tool will progress further and quicker with git. There are periods when MSMG just isnt around.

Why should someone who made (in a MDL team effort) a tool, publish it somewhere else and let other (unknown) people change things?
