What's the point of using this toolkit to remove anything from 1903/1909 if everything will come back after updating windows? Am i missing something?
Then install a complete unmodified system. There is still a way so that the removed components are not restored, but I have not tried it yet.
I think windows builder spoke about his test. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/msmg-toolkit.50572/page-663#post-1559526 I tried it, but most of removed Windows system apps came back after a cumulative update. There are few entries into pending.xml. Adding manually some more does not help.
hmm, MSMG has talked about this several times, users need to read/follow the posts and not just complain
Who's complaining? I asked a logical question. Why would anyone in their right mind prefer to never patch their system and compromise security? Just to have a slim version of Windows 10? It's silly. I am merely trying to converse about it. Never once did i complain.
Hey, How can I make sure there won't be windows updates anymore to install back what I removed ? I want to go with v1909 thanks
IMHO, some people just prefer to do it this way. We may never know why the do it. It may just be a learning experience.
I just used the Toolkit to add about 90 custom fonts to Win 10. After I hit apply and sve, I installed Win10 from the Toolkit I used and none of the custom fonts were installed. Can anyone figure out why it didn't work or if I missed something? Thank you in advanced..
Works fine when i copy and paste reg cmds into New Text Document.txt and save as appx.reg, then i merge appx.reg into registry using NSudo.exe. Work fine for me.
You already asked this when using the language files, available by this iso: 3870ed96353b979750e92d2ef808980dd477b39a *mu_windows_10_language_pack_version_1903_x86_arm64_x64_dvd_c45a68ac.iso And we already have been thru this with the LP's provided by UUP. All in the W10MUI thread. Why now this again?
