I wish I could give you an exact answer. Is the symptom you are seeing is when you try to open settings, it closes immediately? I had this problem back in 1709, and it was related to disabling one or more services. Clipsvc, Appxsvc? Can't remember exactly, but maybe that will give you a place to start. If you've not disabled any services, please disregard.

 

appxsvc was not running but still wont open. seems settings wont open even if i try other ways to get to settings. guess i have to install again.
thanks anyway. by the way MSMG hasnt been active lately.

I attempted to add about 100 custom fonts to the ISO, after the Toolkit copied the fonts to the ISO, thenapplying and saving it to the new iso. When I used the ISO to install Windows 10, the fonts were not installed. The fonts were the standard (.ttf ) font file. I would appreciate any and all feedback concerning this matter.

It seems to work out.
Only the system booted up for a long time.
Edge did not recover.
But Security Health Center and Smart Screen partially recovered.

 

Share what you have done.

 

previously uploaded the reg file.
look at the previous pages.
but I do not recommend using this method, since after its application the system boots up for a very long time, approximately 10 minutes, and some components are still restored.

is important that zip file be extracted to C: drive where OS is installed?

 

You can do that to another one, I use it on D drive for example

then how to create your reg file?
because I used yours, but adjusted it a bit.

 

The MSMG Toolkit is a great program and have used it a number of times. I am looking at using it again today but can't find my older version 8.0.
Seems I can only find the new verson 9.4.2, however this version does not allow you to remove some of the bloat from Win10.
Can anyone please tell me where I can download the version 8.0 that still allowed the removal of the files?

 

It's in the archive folder on mega (8.8), next to the 9.5 version.

can anyone suggest how I should search Google to find how to put custom Fonts on Windows 10 installation ISO. I've used MSMG Toolkit, and when I install Windows 10, the custom fonts are not even on Windows 10 PC. I practically tried everything I can find, including MSMG Toolkit, DSM+++, and they never work. appreciate any and all suggestions.
