Correct. But I need to expand on the issue. Let's say you removed Defender from 1511 image. That image was used to install w10 on client PC's. At some point in 2016, you got the 1607 update pushed. What happened is that Windows Defender got reinstalled, as that update is actually a fresh install with imported settings and programs. That is why, on your w10 1607, Avira still works. Exactly the same happened to me also. I got a lot of complaints from people that Avira (after it updated to .154 version) stopped working. I had to migrate them all to Bitdefender. But I rather use Avira. There is absolutely no way I could contact Avira about this issue. They jus ignored the whole issue. Cheers.

Indeed. Defender seems to be there but is still turned off by group policy. It never re-enabled itself or anything. I switched people over to Avast in the time being as it didn't require you to make an account and all that jazz.
After removing some apps like 3d builder etc integrating framework some driver's and rebuilding image the sync settings with my ms account are not available (clean install).also the verification button of the ms account is missing.what I'm doing wrong? No problems with previous builds.that happen with build 14393.0 and later. Thanks in advance

I don't get why you keep on asking this, if you just made the desired iso, like many members already explained to you, there would be no other language then the one you put in by creating the iso from the UUP files.
BTW Guys, when I loaded the Creators Update 1703 ISO downloaded from Microsoft, so it was the retail version which includes Home/Pro Now when I loaded that ISO in MSMG, it said which image do I want, Pro or Home. I selected Pro and made all the changes that I want and recompiled the ISO I did copy the ei.cfg file to the sources folder just to check and was surprised that it gave me an option to install Home or Pro so that means that even though I selected the Pro image in MSMG, it still compiled the full ISO...... Just wanted to make sure that's how it's supposed to be

If you selected only pro for msmg to work on, only pro got serviced. You could delete Home in msmg wim manager. Or use a Pro only ei.cfg.
Because I want a easier way to make an ISO with only my language. No way I would be able to create an ISO again using the same procedure.
I think some people need to Google dism commands with flags. MSMG toolkit is great, but while you have a mounted image there are plenty of other operations which dism does that are not included in MSMG toolkit.
Confirmed: Removing Windows Defender from the image will cause Avira to malfunction. I just tested a new image with Defender left unharmed, Avira services started just fine. Lessons learned, and a s**tty move from Avira! Cheers.
I have made a Win 10 Pro "lite" RS2 1703 15063.0 using MSMG Toolkit. I got no error during removing "all windows components" - Metro -. Installed on a spare HDD, I was happy but...The Event viewer in the administrative view, is filled by hundred of errors relating to Cortana, or other removed apps. Is there a new way to show all Windows installed apps with dependencies using PowerShell for RS2 build ? The "Get-AppxPackage " command does not show all.
