Hi MSMG, Can you please add an option in the removal section to remove all Metro Apps except OneDrive I want to keep OneDrive but remove all apps so now what I'm having to do is to remove them one by one which takes ages because after the removal of one app, I have to select 4 again, then press 1, then choose the app, and so forth, very tedious.
Why aren't the Store and Xbox apps separated? I don't want the Xbox app but I want the Store app one so I have to stick with the Xbox app... When I click it a bar appears (like a download progress bar) and nothing happens... How can I remove it from the Start Menu? Also, I downloaded the Store app and put it in the correct folder and it isn't detected by the program and I removed IE and both folders in Program Files folder remain and removed Windows Defender and my system is full of alerts stating that it can't start it and its folder remains. Is it possible to remove the User Account Control? My Start Menu has some live tiles which look like their downloading something but they actually don't. I just removed them. EDIT: In CCleaner's list of installed programs some apps that don't appear in the Start Menu still appear (App Installer, Store Purchase App, Xbox Game bar, Xbox Game Speech Window and Xbox Identity Provider) and I removed all but the Store one (in the Start Menu only the Store app appears even before removing those apps which only appear in CCLeaner's list). Strangely, the Xbox app doesn't appear in its list or is one of the 3 Xbox apps I mentioned, although after I removed all of them it still appears in the Start Menu. I was able to remove the Xbox app with a PowerShell command. It still appeared with a weird look in the Apps & Features list but I used again the same PowerShell command and it disappeared for good. However, if I write its name in the Start Menu it still appears but if I click it nothing happens (the same thing happens with all the apps I removed with CCleaner in both the original ISO and the altered one)... They only don't appear if I remove them with this program (MSMG)... The Action Center is reporting errors regarding the protection against virus, the default browser and a change in a default app... EDIT 2: Strange. I had the same problem with the Xbox app after removing it with CCleaner but I used a PowerShell command to remove it and it disappeared from the Start Menu but not from the Apps & Features list. The entry in Apps & Features is grey and only the "Reset" option is eligible. If I click it it disappears from Apps & Features but after I restart the PC it appears again in it... At least if I write its name in the Start Menu it doesn't appear anymore... The Action Center is still reporting errors...
Funny Using the Toolkit and a Windows 10 Pro 1703, I removed some stuff as 3D paint, and others metro apps. In Windows components I removed Cortana, Telemetry, but keep Edge, Store Xbox ( see above ). Made a new fresh Install: The second reboot gave me "Welcome I am Cortana !! ", Use your Mic to configure ... The "removal of Cortana" did apparently not enough to deeply remove things into install.wim file. Still there. Seems 1703 has many dependencies for apps not yet known and not seen with PowerShell.
That's why I stick with LTSB. It's no problem not to have the latest and greatest "creators update". At least I don't have to put up with that cortana crap. Cheers.
It looks like it doesn't support the removal of many apps and when I press a key in the Start Menu nothing happens... Also, Windows 10 downloaded and installed many apps after I signed in to my user account... EDIT: It looks like the reason why nothing happens after I press a key in the Start Menu is because I removed Search. Like with the Store and Xbox apps, Cortana and Search components aren't separated. Oh, and every time I set my user name, password and password hint it gives me an error and I must chose the "ignore" option.

Just because you don't like anyone having a different opinion than your love affair with everything Windows 10. @All - whatever you do don't mention the hideous ugly monstrosity that is the W10 start menu and the diabolically awful modern apps junk cos he really gets upset then!
