@tiagokenta ok I believe that is better wait for MSMG make comment about this issue, still because I don't make none job with this new version of O.S. I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB x64 on machine of production(main) and Windows 8.1 x64 (second machine) then you need some patience because MSMG are working a lot coding and finalizing the new version(GUI) of Toolkit
@Tiger-1 Thank you anyway bro!. I'll keep investigating if I find anything will report here. --- Haha! Seems to be a driver problem im on Dell L501X hybrid graphics (intel + nvidia). If I force chrome to use nvidia card it let me install the extensions normally. Eureka! Well workaround use Nvidia card with Chrome... See you soon bro. --- Well it's crashing again, force chrome to use nvidia card works for a moment. I'm stuck on this problem.
Someone mentioned the repack size. It always comes out bigger for me by about a GB. Which i thought was odd after removing a bunch of stuff. But i've done it about 5 times now, same every time. Not a big deal, i just thought it was weird, figured it was using it's own compression algorithm that wasn't quite as strong as the original?
@tiagokenta Found the problem thanks to your comment. Go into Chrome advanced settings and at the bottom, untick where it says "Use hardware acceleration when available".
Has been answered several times in this topic. Do cleanup + resetbase and rebuild wim. My images always come out smaller than the MS originals, even with CU integrated. Cheers.
I received an error while trying to extract the source from the DVD ISO. I used Windows10_InsiderPreview_EnterpriseVL_x32_en-gb_15063.iso.
Yes, I have absolutely rebuilt several times and followed instructions carefully, but it still wants a 55GB partition... Is there a way to bypass that somehow?
@Feartamixg Extraction Complete... 'else' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I got the same with Win10x64 Pro/Home 15063
The original Install.wim was about 3.5GB and during my customizations I added: - 320MB worth of drivers for my hardware (clean) - Built-in DirectX 9 option - Built-in NET Framework 3.5 option - 150MB worth of updates Then removed: - All Store Apps, except for Store itself and XBox - All Store Apps associations - IE UI, Cortana, Windows Defender, Windows Restore, PPIProjection, and the rest of that nasty bloatware Apps (Contacts, Feedback, etc.) Yet the final size of Install.wim is 4.5GB and once again it demands 55GB worth of space to install a SLIM version of Windows 10 Creator's Update! Why is that? It would not be a problem if: - The OS install was not asking for 55GB worth of space - The over-4GB-file-limit did not require NTFS-based USB flash-formatting, which is complicated, even with RUFUS and requires extra partitions to work... EDIT: OK, I compressed WIM to ESD and now the size is below 4GB, BUT the damn thing still tells me I need to have 40GB worth of free space to install Windows!!! WTH?!?! How do I bypass that crap and why the hell would it want so much space for an OS SMALLER than the official release????
I've read the thread seen that mentioned and read the manual before i used it, as i always do with anything. Seems hard to mess it up, but it must have. Anyway i'l pay particular attention the next time i do it. Thanks.
LoL, MSMG is always saying that he will release the GUI version soon. So that we don't loose hope. But it has been months and he hasn't released it yet. Cheers.
i tho he was waiting after 11 if something change well at least i was guess gonna give a try to the whole package.
im wondering if using bash+awk+grep to script this instead of batch/C# or whatever the gui version uses would simplify the whole 'program'. only thing is WSL would become a prerequisite.
I changed the ISO name after creating it and before burning it to UFD and now it has problems when I boot... EDIT: Forget it. Now it's working...
@Supern00b Hi well MSMG already talk that due M$ make several changes in build 15063 so is very hard to him re-coding the script so he need more time of course to develop, coding, search for issues really I admire MSMG because this is not one simple task; still someone already see the size of script? then imagine how is difficult work on it so we need more patience only my 2 cents
I did say several times that he shouldnt take it too hard upon himself.. distribute the load with others here. I know there are many talented scripters here
