A new Query Tool (v58) is in progress/testing... Basically same as 57 but with some alignment issues fixed.
Query Tool v58 has been uploaded and 2nd post download link and password updated. Spoiler: QT 58 Summary Fixed a few alignment issues on the Display results, it will also now show the Valid Server results however this will usually be shown as 'Un-Listed' if no valid SLIC for a Server is present. Adjusted text for User Languages to now show: UILN = User Interface Language Name and Code ( example: en-GB {2057/809h} ) ULOC = User Locale ( example: en-GB ) ULNG = User Language Value* ( Example: ENG, FRA etc ) *May sometimes not show due to language restrictions. These values are returned via the OS to reflect what settings was used at the first selection screen of the Windows Setup where it asks for Language and keyboard layout etc.
MRP 92 is in development. Quite a bit of code changes has been done and all log entries are now within their respective section headers, a few extra headers added as well. New option: 'Turn off Game Mode/Bar/DVR' (Including TruePlay), quite a few have asked for it to be added. This will still allow the user to toggle on or off the switches in PC Settings if they so wish at a later time. Took a bit of detective work to do it without using any policies, so no greyed out switches or 'Managed by your organization' banner on that section of PC Settings. If Server 2019 (in pre-release) is detected then certain 'headers' now reflect that instead of Server 2016 which was shown before. More details later...
It was only by accident i found that it turned off Cortana stuff within the Setup, I added the extra reg entries and did a test install to find that Cortana was nowhere to be seen or heard! Nothing about the reg entries mentioned it also controls the Setup version, so it is a nice added side effect to gag 'her' during installation too. Just hope it works on all W10 installs that have Cortana as some Languages/Editions not have it by default. Either way the extra blocks come in handy. If the option 'Block Cortana' isn't used then as normal you will hear or see 'her' during setup and in the installed OS.
I am unsure why it requires two logout/reboot cycles to set the tweak, maybe because it is set during oobe stage and the OS not 'see' it for some reason but it does work. Have also added it to the cleanup script so on the logout/reboot it is also 'set' just to make sure, only if the option is used and the correct OS is installed otherwise it is ignored. Added standalone scripts, (in the 'Optional\Misc_ExtraScripts\Windows8.x_Kernels' folder), for the tweak, one to set the thin borders and the other to revert it back to default. Have now put the scripts into respective sub folders for each specific OS Kernel, there is one called 'General' that any script within that folder should work on any supported Windows OS, although XP and below they may not work on but MRP isn't designed for those EOL Operating Systems anyway.
MPR 92.0 has now been converted to Baseline and doing final install checks. Have fixed the line about the Thin borders being in the wrong placement. Only cosmetic and didn't affect the option but i like to have things in the correct order. Once i am satisfied everything is looking ok and options work then i will upload the new version.
