Will have to test the tweaks on Enterprise or even LTSC as those have slightly different reg settings to Consumer.
As i thought, Enterprise (LTSC - maybe Server 2016/9 too) does do things a little different, but think have managed to work that out too. - it does seem to trigger the Managed by organization line but that immaterial you can still change them manually if required later. For those Editions it will be experimental, so you would need to check the settings are actually set as expected after the install has completed and do a reboot not a sign out to make sure. New Options written into Config Creator v5.2 - just now to add the code into MRP and test.
Now at T2 internal test stage. Done a few tweaks to the code. Fixed a few little spelling mistakes that crept in. Will change it from 94.1 to 95.0 soon then the RC testing begins, shouldn't be that long this time til release.
MRP 95.0 RC3 in testing.... Maybe another RC revision after this one then it be ready for baseline. I know quite a few are awaiting this one but i not going to rush things and forget something. QT61.1 is in progress too with a little extra line of info, it not 100% accurate due to limitations of batch mathematics but it close enough.
QT62.0 will be released soon, just on last test stages. It is now a Hybrid version! QT runs as normal, although you wont be asked to run Fast/Normal (runs Fast mode automatically). The Report is automatically saved to your desktop (along with the MSDM key text file - if there is a MSDM key present). The old Display output is now in a GUI window (see attached picture), you can scroll and adjust window size as needed. Once you have viewed just click the top corner 'X' to close the GUI display. This new GUI display will allow for extra information when added later on new QT releases. One new bit has been added, you can see it in the picture. The GUI is set at 1000 x 460 resolution so if you have a old display at 640 x 480 it might look a bit odd, at some point i will do a check and auto adjust the GUI display window for small resolutions but that another block of code for another day! Getting this to all work as it is took best part of the day. It uses the Font Consolas - just hope that is available on win7! -------------------- MRP 95.0 is on RC3 and i am hoping final RC before baseline. Just tidying up and then write the change log and all being well either later this evening or sometime tomorrow it will be ready for action.
This gets better and better with every update... Thank you for continuously improving MRP and the QT...
The QT will eventually be converted to a pure GUI only. Moving away from batch and hybrid will take a while but i am learning new things and this is the first step in the evolutionary process of the Project(s).
There is a bit of a delay for the QT62.0 as testing on Win7 had a glitch, hopefully sorted it now. Was a question of 'timing' AGAIN! deleted the GUI text file before it even had chance to create the GUI lol. So altered the code a bit and now it seems to show every time on 7. Phew!
No s**t here with windows 7 Tiger-1 . It is bloated compared to xp, its like comparing an oil tanker to a canoe but 7 has some advantages, usb install and captured wims to start with and its easy to tame, very easy.
After much grief have managed to set background and font colors! Gez they not make it easy, its all RRGGBB with other bits mixed in. So the GUI display will be blue back ground and white text. Almost like the COLOR 1F cmd color but a bit lighter blue.
