There's only one image in that install.wim. A sysprepped Home edition. This OOBE bypass doesnt happen on my laptop (Lenovo preinstalled with W10 home) when PXE-booted
Lenovo is another weird brand! I have a Lenovo IdeaCenter 300 and that came with w10 home, it hates win 7 really makes it crawl. So no idea what they do to the bios etc. If only Home/Core to be installed on that Asus then try the PID.txt with the MSDM key, setup will ignore the MSDM, install Home/Core and MRP will do the rest. Or the HWID will if it has one for activation which i see it has.
I know i replied to another thread when they was having problems with oobe being ignored with a MSDM for Core, even with a ei.cfg present, i advised to try the PID.txt way to force Pro to install and it worked for them obviously using the -3V66T key to 'force' Pro. But the principle is the same. Your case is to make Setup run the oobe stage. Using a PID.txt normally will NOT activate and is just a 'place marker' for the Edition to install. However MRP can use the PID key to be used to activate when using the 'Use Pid.txt key' option, there are various checks to see if the key is valid etc. In your situation the key would be valid as it is the MSDM core key so you can use the option or not. Either way the key would be used and the oobe stage should then proceed for MRP to work.
This all seems complicated to me for some reason. Its not an important laptop or os tho, main thing is W10 is reinstalled and works fine.
[NOKCA] Note: OEM SLP Key/Certificate routines will not be processed. Reason: No valid SLIC Table Detected. i got it right this time
Been working on the QT engine... Think i have now sorted the '0 is unexpected' error and a few other cosmetic ones where 'No Instance(s) Available' is shown on any OS below 8.x/10. Tweaked the GUI display to now pick the default font the OS uses, for 10 kernels, 'Consolas'. Vista - 8.1 Kernels it will use 'Lucina Console' or another mono spaced font before giving up! Will post a test QT link soon once i have cleared my debug code.
QT 62.6 GUI Test version uploaded. Click Here for test version. Please test on Windows 7 as that was the OS causing most of the problems. It works ok on W10 well it has in my tests.
no strange errors appeared in the scanning display window during QT run? At least it not crash like before
It is a test Will sort that out as normally that part would not be shown on the display window, only on the saved report which it what it was aligned for.
Dug out that PBell laptop, just upgraded it from 7 to 10 activated ok. But damned if i can get the Mobile 4 display driver lol
a bit more complex to explain and do within MRP. With the option about 'block adverts' it should not have those extra ones. unless m$ have sneaked them back on again, well trying too. Only thing i can say is to right click and unpin/uninstall if you wish to remove them. Any new apps/programs will auto add to the menu.
