After clean install Win10 1803 PL with MRP96.0 (with MRPConfig.ini) there is still one space at the end of the driver label. I set up name "Windows" and after istall I've got "Windows ". It is not so important - I can change it manually.
The drive label extra space has been sorted on the next MRP release. I might release 96.1 decompile.exe which has the fixes for the drive label and the updated DMI detection routines this gives me time to have a break and work out what next to add. Let me know if you want to test out the decompile - i will change it from internal/beta to 'baseline refresh' as so far it seems to work with all the testing. It will be just the decompile.exe no other files.
If you have time -- I'm terrible with image editing (as maybe some can see lol). Wallpaper.jpg must be below 254kb (size on disk) for it to work with older os's than win8.0+, wallpaper1, 2,3... can be upto 2mb. The size limitation is what m$ made in the early w95+ days for wallpaper.jpg so i can't get around that to make all the brands work on Vista/S2008 to 10/S201x and to have two separate OEM's.7z would confuse people plus more work!
Added the v96.1 decompile.exe ONLY within its own archive to the 2nd post download spoiler. Password and Hashes included. A readme included. Back up your current 96.0 decompile if needed and replace it with the new 96.1 one.
had to check the log as i thought it picked intelbras instead of VMware (or the intel 'slic marker name and then got it wrong - again) - then saw you had used customtheme=Idealmax Also i thought Control Panel icon on desktop would be in English but it looks like it auto translates
I was going to add an option to add some more bits to the context menu of My Computer/This PC such as Device Manager, RegEdit, Programs and Features, Windows Update, but they would probably be in English and not auto translated due to the way you have to create the entries... Its one of my personal tweaks which i find very handy. As can be seen on the pic attached.
If that option for those extra items on the context menu for This PC/My Computer would like to be added let me know. Please note they will most likely be in English. PC settings for 8.x/10 are slightly different but function the same - that entry will not be present on Vista/7 Kernels because that does not exist on them.
I am really excited and i will try my best to remake those logos from scratch to preserve their quality and hence keeping in mind the restrictions as well
@l30 thanks On Win8.0 onward they relaxed that limitation, i think the max size is 25mb but that would be only really good for 4k monitors and im sure at that size would slow down the desktop background appearing for a few seconds. So i would say a safe limit of 2mb for wallpaper1,2,3. Most of the images in the OEM's.7z have not been updated/touched since 2014! Only a few i have edited/changed since i took over with newer images to give a fresh look on some well used brands.
Will see about separating them as at the moment they are in a 'block' setting, as they was for my own use to save me time when wanting to use those programs/apps. Once you have them added you soon miss them when working on a pc that not have them on that menu lol.
true but i rarely use the Win-X menu hence why they was a personal tweak But if i can separate them then the user can add one or two or none to the context menu as they wish. OR I could add it as a separate extra script and in that way the user can edit the names for their own language, saves me creating more options in the Creator (and extra work ) - which thinking about it might be the better way. I can put the var names in and the user can just change those lines for the naming bit.
Here is my first contribution towards a better tomorrow  ZT Please check and let me know, how did i do ???
Looks ok only user810.bmp has some artefacts around the text which is one problem i had enlarging some logos. Wallpaper looks very nice. Not sure if i can find a decent ZT logo to be used as the user810 file... will have to search. Found the attached png which i think can be enlarged to the 448x448 and saved as BMP. Paint.net i tried and it looked OK, but Photoshop might do a better job.
