Although the MRP can use PNG files instead of BMP for the User810 file - but it makes the OEM's.7z a lot larger as they cant be compressed very well. hence why i kept the BMP type.
I just gave it huuuf and pufff in photoshop again, i think its much better now. What do you think ???
I tried to work with Photoshop but gave up as so many menus/options - i just use Paint.net now and then, although that is now expanding with extra stuff - tried the clone stamp tool when i was editing the RM wallpaper but it went totally wrong so found a new wallpaper in the end for that one and just added in the RM Logo.
So here is second branding update ZOTAC, i attached two wallpapers feel free to choose 1 or you can keep both aswell
The extra wallpapers i added are so that the end user can choose a different one, also if they wanted to create a desktop slideshow. Plus some OEM's have a few extra ones. Alienware is one of those type because on a slideshow they merge/fade into each other quite nicely, took me ages to align them it is possible they are a couple of pixels out but the effect is nice.
The Virtual Machine ones are ok (VMware, Vbox, Qemu, Xen). HyperV one might need a update, i tried to do my best with the limited abilities i have to create the theme to be 'presentable'. Wallpaper1 on HyperV is not a bad one but i noticed Server 2008 on the 'can' which i tried to remove but failed, so left it alone. Sadly there are not many wallpapers for HyperV about that are usable, most are below the 1920x1080 resolution minimum and look crap when enlarged so the ones in HyperV folder are the best of the worst i could find. MRP may not be perfect, but it certainly helps with a lot of manual work that would be involved otherwise. The Server branding side might not always work like normal OEM/Consumer OS's but that is the nature of Servers and how they are designed, everything is 'Off' by default for themes and it was a challenge to find the right balance. I wish to thank everyone who has helped with the MRP - bug reports, suggestions, testing etc the list is many, have added everyone that has helped in the change logs - sorry if i have missed anyone.
I will be out for a few hours. Many thanks @l30 for taking the time to check over and update the brands.
Been busy working on the next Config Creator since i got home, so that it will now automatically remove any leading, extras within and trailing spaces from the Drive and Model name options, also within MRP itself it will re-check for them if the .ini was edited manually. This should prevent them sneaking in again. Not tested a OS install yet to see when i add any extra spaces in the .ini file on those options to see if MRP will remove them too. Manual testing of the routine works and this one should work under oobe stage, unlike before. That is a job for later as it has gone midnight here so i'm signing off for today...
Test OS install with the new extra space removal routine worked. I edited the .ini manually for Drive and Model names to have loads of extra spaces and the new re-check routine removed them to look neat and tidy.
Just spent about 3 hours just to write the extra options in the Creator for ThisPC/My Computer context menu! (see attached picture). Note they may appear on your OS in English, can't change that as due to how you have to create the menu entries it will be impossible for me to translate for every language, so please don't ask. They are options like all others - off by default, use or not it's up to you. Not even started adding the code to MRP yet.
I've checked DeCompile.exe from MRP 96.1 Baseline Refresh and everything looks ok for me. No more spaces at the end of drive label. Thanks One more thing: sometimes (I don't know how to check it) desktop color is not set. For example with Gigabyte theme color was set to dark grey ("stormy clouds" or sth like that) and now I've got standard blue color everywhere (wallpaper and other staff like logos etc.are properly set to Gigabyte).
It took a little while to find the sneaky gremlin, its been in for ages hiding since i added the drive label option. Now its gone and extra checks added to make sure it stays gone.
