The best thing i like beside installing os on different computers is OEM branding. It always has been the most focused project for me. Beside i got 4 holidays so why waste the opportunity, i am trying my best to upgrade this project so that all people of community can take advantage of this project.
Having the right branding 'look' can be as important as coding the actual project files to place them on the system being installed. I admit some of the edits i have done was not brilliant but they sufficed and better than none at all. Majority of the OEM's was due a refresh as some have not changed probably since the very first project in 2010 i think. To be honest i not sure if some of the brands are not used at all now as the computers/makers are no longer producing the systems. They are all included for those that still have those computers.
BGH Source Upgraded P.s Their website is not working and i redesigned their logo in simple two colors R.I.P Gradient logo
Hey guys! I am a bit confused... It has been around 3 years since I last created multi OEM images with Windows 7 and now I am back at it with WIn10 also. Is it just me or I did not have to modify the actual ISO when adding this OEM folder? I am trying to remember but maybe I was using MDT to capture the image and then add OEM to Sources? I decided to follow the VM route now to install and Audit mode to install the crap, capture the image using FOG server, but over here there is no MDT server... any advice?
As mentioned on the first post about "how to use" , simply download the MRP archive extract the $oem$ folder from the archive, place that into the Sources folder of Windows Vista/7/8.x/10 (Servers) ISO or USB/Image. That will brand automatically (if DMI information is available). If a SLIC available and valid MRP will attempt to activate with that. For Win 8.x/10 place the ei.cfg from within the Optional folder into the Sources folder - this will tell the Windows Setup to ignore checking for a MSDM which would bypass the oobe stage in which MRP is called from. Also this will allow MRP to check for any valid MSDM and insert the key from it if it matches the Edition being installed. As for MDT/FOG use i am unable to help with that side.
This version of the project is a lot more advanced than previous ones, although it still has the main core of them, just expanded to cover a lot more. Also using the MRP Config Creator you can tweak certain aspects of the OS as well.
