Dual Xeon E5 system. Code: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.286] (c) 2018 Microsoft Corporation. Všechna práva vyhrazena. C:\WINDOWS\system32>wmic cpu get SocketDesignation /format:list SocketDesignation=CPU 1 SocketDesignation=CPU 2
it puzzles me why m$ bother to put these half decent result calls into WMI API's then to have the board makers not bother to update the information! I believe it shows two+ lines for CPU because the board has two+ physical CPU's fitted , they would (should) return the same socket type so only one is checked for within the QT.
Its like cars these days, all look same core design, nothing like they used to be, ok it all to do with aerodynamics etc but they loose their individuality.
MRP is at RC5 A stage the A being a sub candidate which now shows the Grace time remaining on Eval editions. Providing the pc is online during install as there is no way to determine activation on Win8+ Evals offline. Win7 Evals and below may also require to be online. As Evals are just that, then it is not too much of a deal, but added the info anyway. The next QT will now also show that information if it is available.
I will leave Lenovo brand as it is, or will be adding so many versions it will be confusing. Original {blue} and New {Orange/Red}. If the end user wants the other logo colors then they can add them if they wish, all info on how to change the brand's contents is given in the read me's. Plus a pink version nooo.
You can try insert auto detection based on DMI data (SYSMODEL etc.). Idea* = red logo Think* = blue logo Yoga* = orange ...
EVEREX Source Updated P.s Oops looks like one image wasn't aligned so i re uploaded with perfect alignment
which logo do you guys vote for, i liked second last one more ??? And main reason i chose this is beacuse The green logo is only used for green notebooks which were launched back in 2008. "Everex launches a series of low cost "green" systems, the CloudBook UMPC, the gBook notebook, and the gPC mini Mac mini-like desktop, all running the Ubuntu-based gOS Linux with the GNOME desktop environment. Everex is later acquired by systems integrator Newmarket Technology
