Very soon Just a few last minute bits to sort out. Will release it as a separate entity until the next MRP as it will be included in that anyway. Not even started on the next MRP or QT as taking a break plus it has taken all my spare time to sort this Creator/Editor out which was something i wanted to do for ages but never got the time, now that 'to-do' is in progress and is almost done. More info soon, as working on a part of the code which needs testing more. Results so far are looking hopeful. If this part passes the testing stage with minimum glitches then there will be only one limitation which is not really that important as far as i am concerned and not want to spend any more time on the Creator/Editor than is needed or it will never get sorted.
You deserve a break. Good to see you taking to time to sort this Creator/Editor. Shows that you are a good program. Have a Happy New Year!
MRPConfigCreator/Editor v11.0 has been uploaded, 2nd post download link, password and hashes added. This will only be available until the next MRP is released as it will be included within the new archive. New Changes Limited re-editing of a previous ini file is now possible, majority of options will be read in if the ini file is present in the same location as the main program. If the previous ini was created in Advanced Mode then the Creator/Editor will auto switch to Advanced Mode. In Advanced Mode: Any user entered text for the Administrator 'ThisPC/Computer' Context menus will be read in but not displayed within the text box sections due to how the routine works. However if your previous .ini had these enteries set up as you wish, the editor will read them in but will NOT show them on the C/T tab menu, if you not enter anything new in the boxes then the Creator/Editor will save the original text you entered. Please check the newly edited/saved ini file for any missing or wrong data in that area. * edited above information for this post: 01/01/2019 to be more clearer *
For those that use either Daz's Loader or KMS scripts via setupcomplete.cmd who then find the MRP does not complete fully, check the SetupComplete.cmd for the any of the below entries, or similar looking ones, and remove the lines, as MRP will auto clean up the Scripts folder when it has completed. SHUTDOWN /R /T 5 DEL /f /q "%windir%\setup\scripts\*.*" RMDIR /s /q "%windir%\setup\scripts" RD /s /q "%windir%\setup\scripts" Removing the entries will not affect your activation solution(s), it just prevents those script(s) from wiping the files that MRP uses. I could rewrite the project to use a different location so that it is not reliant on the Scripts folder but that would require a total rewrite of the project which could take ages. Will experiment and see...
After a few hours, (about 5 in total), managed to get the Creator/Editor to be able to show and edit any C/T Menu text (advanced mode) too, so now the program can edit all options if a previous .ini was loaded. For now it is still in testing and if all things work as expected then it will be added to the next MRP release's archive as v11.1 or v12.0 depending if any new options are to be added. Only just started on the next MRP and QT so may be a little while...
Project files update MRP is now at RC1 today... When finalized it will basically just be a interim version, which has extra error checking and 'potential' glitch fixes. It will be released as v107.0 because a fair amount of work has been done 'under the hood' as they say. No new options added this time. --------------- MRPCreator/Editor will now be v12.0 as a few slight internal code changes have been made which do not affect its use, just some tidying and re-wording to some text parts due to the new changes made on the editing side. As mentioned in a previous post, ALL current (v10/11) options should now be editable, if you selected to re-load a previous .ini, make sure it is a .ini from version 9+ to be compatible as various changes have been made from v8 .ini files onward and most of the older options have been either renamed or updated since then so they may not show in the latest Creator/Editor. Have tried to make the Creator GUI aware of the screen resolution and font dpi in use, but as that is quite a complicated process i cannot guarantee it will look 'OK' on very high resolution systems and for the time being i have left that side alone as 'defaults' which 'technically' should auto-adjust... --------------- Query Tool v84.0 is also in progress and a few little internal code tweaks done also, nothing new added this time. --------------- Have added the latest updated brand files to date for the OEM's, thanks @l30. --------------- ETA: Not too long, hopefully before the end of this week.
