There are various ways to disable defender, the routine used in MRP is based on many scripts found on the internet and many hours of testing to make sure it not affect the Firewall. As for disabling updates that is not something that is done within MRP, it only prevents auto downloading (Professional and above editions as Home is a bit more awkward). There are scripts on MDL that has more control over the updates.
MRP 107 Baseline has been uploaded, 2nd post download link, password and hashes updated. Spoiler: MRP 107 Summary This is a basic interim update that has extra error checking and 'potential' glitch fixes. + Updated DMI detection routine slightly, to be more efficent if a certain DMI entry is not defined. + Updated MRPConfigCreator to allow editing of a previous MRPConfig.ini file, make sure the .ini is in the same location as the program's exe. If detected you will be asked if you wish to re-load it, the program will check if it was created in 'Advanced Mode' and switch to that mode for editing too. The only limitation that it must be an .ini from version 9 onward to be compatible as not all options may be available to edit from older created .ini files due to renaming or other changes. + Updated Reason Codes, (now over 550). + Updated OEM's.7z with latest branding data, thanks to @l30. + Code tidy up and some slight re-wording done.

Fingers crossed it will be released soon, if it not hard enough to trap any ( ) & % etc even extra spaces can give grief! I will nail them one way or another
