sadly it is a quirk of WMIC that it not show all details i will attempt to write a new module at some stage when i have time to see if i can obtain better GFX info.
MRP v126.0 has been uploaded, 2nd post download link, password and hashes updated. Spoiler: MRP v126.0 Summary + Added new General/Extras options: 1> 'Disable Windows Error Reporting' this also attempts to stop any 'leaks' and not just the service being disabled. Event viewer may not like this disabled but it stops a 'potential' data export. 2> 'Theme Settings' Desktop Context Menu, this will have simple items such as 'Configuration', 'Desktop Icons', 'Sound', 'Screen Saver' etc - the items will depend on the OS installed, on Win 7 there may be an extra items for 'Colors' etc. The wording of the items should hopefully be auto-translated into the installed OS's Language. Fallback Language will be en-US if any fail to translate properly. Note: Starter and ~Basic Editions may have less menu items as they may not be available for those specific Editions, even W10 Starter, which does not strictly exist will also ignore certain items too, this is only because of a general flag that is set and not to say that the theme elements are not in that Edition. + Added W10 option to show time remaining on the Battery Meter, sometimes this does not show and i am guessing m$ are slowly removing this data on later builds. + Updated the MRPConfigCreator to v31.0 to cover the above new options, also some re-wording on some items to cover any changes etc. + Various internal code tweaks done to help streamline the project.
just nipped on while at work Started on the next MRP and one new W10 option in place and under testing, thanks to @bundyal for the heads up on that one.
I've not experienced that exact same scenario but have had a oobe 'loop', in my case it never got to the username creation part so it never created the user, it just kept looping back to the keyboard selection etc.. I know some insider builds used to loop or abort with a OOBE keyboard type error, but i think m$ resolved that. I have not heared anything from @Enthousiast of any weird loops like you experienced, certainly not recently with any CU integrated. It may of been a '1 off' as they say, one of the strange quirks of Windows 10...
that is possible as the windows setup / oobe stages change tactics when lan/wifi connected as it has those other screens appear. I personally always install with no net connection.
@mxman2k I come back to the installation problem I faced some days ago. Finally all went ok after a fresh installation without internet connexion except....it's a Packard Bell machine and your prog installed HP OEM infos, wallpaper..... Is it due to SLIC version of bios ? thx for reply.
