I have tried WinISO but had mixed results at one point it saved a huge file sometimes it corrupted the iso's. Went back to UltraISO as it was then updated to cover Win 8.1 UDF properly.

PowerISO another i was not too keen on.

I always use Ultra ISO (almost, if not fully, the same as PowerISO) or MSMG toolkit (to lazy to use the cmd for oscdimg myself) :D

oscdimg is a command that has a lot of things i can really screw up LOL. I cheat just use UltraISO, simpler and less mistakes. :p

@crashnburn, Im sure even the portable version will allow those configuration settings to be saved within it own folder.

Open UltraISO, Click Options menu, then the configuration menu, then save tab. Just the top two boxes to be ticked (ignore super restore one), click OK. Close the program, reopen and the settings should be saved.

This will save the ISO you have edited and also a .uibak version (original before saving). No delta stuff. Just two big ISO files. :)

I open the iso i wish to edit, using the interface i click on Sources folder, drag the $OEM$ file for MRP into that, it should appear at the top of the Sources folders contents. I then click the icon for SAVE (picture of a floppy disk). It chugs away for a while and its all done. Save as creates a new ISO under a new name you wish to call it. I always just click Save. So that I have the newly edited ISO and the .uibak version.

Mine is the installed version of UltraISO, bought it many years ago and code still works from v3.5. :D

@Enth, Strange your portable worked perfectly just like a installed version does. I have never had a delta file type thing before. A corrupted ISO a few times, my own fault for that though, thought it had 'hung' so end-tasked the program lol. Realised it was my crap CPU at the time that was maxed out.

I always have optimize set on. can shave a few mb of the ISO.

crashnburn might have a corrupted copy?
