HP back to bite me again Not detected the hp slic name, but it could be hidden like lenovo does when the msdm key is used.

I thought i had fixed vbox dmi Im using/testing with version 7 latest. Not sure why defender not detected, that routine is unchanged. As the function to check if running within a vm detects vbox i may use that if no dmi data. My todo list is growing
Time to log off and get a few hours zzzz Will look into whats been reported in the morning. Thanks for reports. Helps me fix things i missed or not expected.

Thanks , will revert code back to Pshell graphics version. Odd about defender though Could be Server's giving weird results, not going to loose sleep over it as Servers are a OS of its own
GUI QT .30 DMI/BIOS tab: Moved MSDM key info there. Added MSDM key description (if it works as not got a MSDM laptop with me at moment until later)... Also added SLIC table status (w8.x+) which says if the slic is valid or not... Still not able to get the slic version 2.x yet... OS Info Tab: swapped MSDM key present info to 'Shipped with 7GB reserved' not that it much use but filled the line gap Seems on VBox below v7 the DMI info is stored somewhere else in the registry and not sure where! -- I wonder if System Info will show the name/model etc Will upload this new version later on once i get to test the new MSDM bit out.
Code: SLIC Table Status : SLIC table with valid marker present {v2.1} MSDM Key Description : TOSQCI|Toshiba MSDM Key Detected : 29WJQ (Last 5 digits shown) Still having issues with graphics Vram on some intel HQ internal graphics, the ps script errors in some way and uses the registry backup one instead that gives minus numbers. Had to resort to using Generic4.exe to get the slic version and MSDM name for the time being. The slic version and MSDM name using G4 will be only for win 10/11, on other OS's it will be N/A for the time being. Not uploaded the GUI yet will have to be tomorrow as still not 100% happy with it yet.
Updated P/Shell Graphics routine, at times it would get confused with two Adapter1's vam or data on Intel HQ chipsets. Hopefully that is sorted now as tried it on several Intel HQ systems and it looks to be right, plus it can show with shared vram added. Updated VM detection show a bit more info for the description, if one is present. Hopefully fixed a few other bits that has been mentioned or i have noticed. The A/V detection routine has been updated to look in two area's so Defender could be detected on Server's too if present, cant guarantee but one bit should catch Defender... On w7 some elements may not show in the CPU and Memory sections as the objects may not be present in the WMI calls. With VM's such as VBOX version below v7.x.x may not show any DMI information as it not in the 2 registry area's usually DMI/BIOS data is stored. Your A/V may grab the G2.exe or G4.exe within the %Temp% folder - this will prevent the QT from getting the SLIC version and some MSDM information. Please set an exclusion for the two exe files. I cannot set Defender's exclusions via AutoIT as the registry keys are locked and need SYSTEM or above privileges. Not going to write loads of extra code just for two files! G2 and G4 are Generic_2 and Generic_4 that @Alphawaves wrote and they are perfectly safe. You may get a .Net download requester if the right .Net is not installed. I tried to match the .Net to one that is available if not then you will get the requester to get the version it requires for that OS.
If you remember @MMIKEE the old QT took a few attempts to get the order right, although the GUI one uses P/Shell which seems to pick the first and second order as it feels although have added the Active/InActive line in to show which it detected as active etc at the time of the test. On my laptop Intel is usually first then the NVidia 2nd, but if i have just played a game it can switch places which i believe is correct.
