Hopefully be back coding the next beta soon as more appointments i have had recently has prevented me getting to laptop/pc.

My main pc threw a hissy fit during last cu update for w10 which crippled it until i managed to revert back and pause updates.

The cu also refused to install on my laptop so neither is up to date. I not fussed as i was on w10 rs2 for 2 yrs after its eol so im used to being in limbo with updates.

I have had referrals from medical agencies to push for a suitable place to live so at some point i will be moving.

When i have moved i am planning to totally convert mrp to a new format via autoit i have some basic framework already and it will be fully modular internally so easy to work on.

At moment i have almost reached maximum capacity in batch programming and is getting harder to adjust code as it becoming a sprawling mess plus a lot of options require better methods to code such as pshell or autoit that has enhanced coding.

Using autoit will also allow mrp to evolve quicker.

But its a little away before a beta of that format will be available for testing.

Been looking for a way to remove that windows backup app thats sneaked in recently on w10 probably w11 too.

But its in the latest feature update certainly on w10.

Only found about it today after it sneaked on the start menu when i installed w10 on a laptop today and done a wu run.

It's part of MicrosoftWindows.Client.CBS app (Windows Feature Experience Pack), not separate app

Yeah i knew it came in the latest cu i installed today.

If it was a half decent backup program like the w7 one was it not be bad but to only upload to a ms account, not sure if it onedrive, and no choice to local backup somehow is a bit crap.

    More shovelware :(

Will resume work on TV2 for MRP 155 very soon, had a few appointments to get through first.

One option in MRP to 'Disable Windows Update' on the first option page of the creator certainly blocks it no matter how i tried to revert it on a laptop i just installed w10 on for my step son!!

Took me ages to get a HD3000 intel gfx driver to work on the i3 laptop :D

For beta testers, MRP 155-TV2 uploaded :)

Nothing major added at this time just some updating of a few option text lines for the project log.

I try not to let my health issues rule my life but recently due to many changes in medication it has knocked me back a bit while adjusting.

I will get back on track, i was happy i managed to get the latest mrp out the door before things went down hill for me.

Cant believe it will be 8 years i have been coding this set of projects in 2024!

Many things i have planned for next year with mrp and hope i can achieve those goals as it should open up many new possibilities.

A few days is all i need to recharge my batteries.

Have already done a bit of coding since the last beta test, just not had the energy to finish what i was doing it nothing major just a small update to a option which i need to check is ok before i upload the next test version.

Judging by the amount of downloads of v154 this project still has a lot of users which keeps me going, i must be doing something right.

I know i have had to pull a few releases that I made errors in but they rare now as my trusty band of testers thrash it before public release to make sure its 99.9% ok.

Time to log out as hospital appointment tomorrow so a long day ahead.

Nothing invasive just a sonar gram thing for heart, hopefully the swinging brick is still ok :D
