You know what? I love that attitude! Keeping your sense of humor and looking at the bright side, even when life throws some serious curveballs, is so admirable. And you're absolutely right - the fact that you're still here, alive and kicking despite the bad luck and challenges, means you're one tough cookie. Clearly annoying all those bastards who want to see you down! That defiant spirit and ability to find reasons to smile is going to carry you through this rough patch. You've got a whole cheering squad over here rooting for you to keep being that lovable pain in the ass that no negativity can stop! Don't ever lose that amazingly positive outlook, my friend. It's one of your superpowers.
My dry/twisted sense of humor has kept me going, at least they cant take that away from me! Even the grim reaper is weary of me as i told him come near me with that scythe again and i will cut your c*ck of with it.

At the oet exam today , was another 7am start! Just between candidates so got a few minutes to post. When i tested ltsc and iot yesterday mine both crashed at the oobe stage where you enter the username etc. I found out it was a rogue unattend.xml i had left in by mistake when trying some oobe skipping parts which the install didnt like. I have mentioned my experience with xml files is hit and miss It was all ok on non ltsc/iot tests and ltsc without my xml. At least now on ltsc/iot the tidy taskbar option works.
With a bit of luck mrp 156 will be at rc stage next week as all updated options are working and i can remove some old code that the new code has replaced. I have tried to keep some backwards compatibility on some options but the old slim/tidy start menu ones are no longer operative on the older creator ini files as the upgraded code has taken over. In the new creator some option placements have shuffled around as the two old slim menu ones are gone.
As mentioned in a previous post MRP 156 RC1 has now been uploaded for beta testers. The changelog details more information on all changes for MRP156 up to date including the latest change for experimental detection of other scripts such as Specialize.cmd and Unattend.xml although as mentioned in the changelog that unattend.xml may not be detected when MRP is run as i expect that the unattend.xml will already been used by the windows setup program and deleted early on before oobe.cmd has been run. The process of pruning the old non required code will begin this week and RC2 will have those removals done. Not all backwards compatibility can be maintained, will put notes for those where required.
Got me another gaming laptop since my acer nitro 5 motherboard bit the dust. Now I have a Asus 17" Republic of Gamers laptop. Freaking rocks! Now to set it up how I want. Waiting for the next MRP to be released. Then will create my custom recovery partition which I will be able to update the image when I want in the future. No third party software required.
Wont be too long now for MRP156 release Just the code tidy up and a quick test to make sure i not removed something i shouldn't then it be good to go. )
Code slimming started, have shaved 3kb of weight. Sofar disable defender code gone as it no longer works due to changes m$ made to defender. So you will need to use an alternative method to disable or remove it. The unlock defender option is still ok. Both of the old slim start menu and tidy taskbar options are gone too as the new multi-selectable option that is their replacements is more efficient. A bit more work to be done before i upload rc2.
This project can handle all the Context menu parts you see, plus a whole lot of other things besides. All the information is either on the first post what this project does or it can be found dotted about this thread. In the projects archive is the change log file which explains all the updates/additions etc that has been made over time. The GUI Creator makes the ini file which the project then parses to take action on what option(s) the user has selected. The project is not perfect but any flaws i try to fix as soon as possible.
MRP 156 RC2 is being tested first before i upload for the beta testers to make sure i not messed anything up.
