Keep forgetting to test server but not many people update as often that os, so been lucky as no new options for that os yet. I must update my server usb as i still have 2016. Bought a replacement usb for my ltsc test installer today.
Im sure i fixed that explore icon bug yes for ltsc. It was all because ms used a different naming convention. Usually was explorer.exe but on later ltsc it was switched to file explorer.exe which confused the xml part for the taskbar. But it made me look deeper into the slim start menu and taskbar option which is why it is a new selectable one. Its now universal for 10 and 11 ltsc and non ltsc , just hope ms not change the explorer file name again Plus it also fixed the bug in which if you deleted the explorer icon off the taskbar on next reboot it was back.
MRP156 baseline will be released after the Easter break here, probably Tuesday or at latest Wednesday. Within 4 days at least.
"The important part is the summary section, this will indicate what branding will possibly be applied, (if the DMI has the required information), also what sort of LEGAL activation is possible ie SLIC (Vista/7/Some Server Editions), or MSDM (8.x/10)." With the new gui version the summary section is basically all the log. I still need to update the first post of this thread, its just time is limited. Your device does not have any valid oem named dmi so unable to determine oem branding. No slic or msdm. Uses default theme or one supplied with device/os. Has hwid digital license. Edit: Have updated the first post on the QT spoiler, hopefully it makes more sense now, it covers the GUI QT instead of the old non GUI version. Also updated the credits section, sorry if i missed anyone. Have checked the apps removal code used in MRP for when the 'Remove all safe apps...' option(s) are used to make sure that the list of apps to not remove by default is up to date for both Insider and non Insider builds, there is a slight difference. Edge is on the list to not be removed yet it seems to vanish from the OS, i think this only happens when the option to not show the Edge shortcut on the desktop and/or don't open edge on start-up options are used. I know a lot of people not use/want edge so it not a major deal breaker and i am not going to spend time trying to fix this glitch. Simply put, if you want edge on your install, don't use any edge options in the Creator, although i still not sure why edge gets removed from the OS.
