if you go to the first page, click on the download spoiler it will show you the current password for MRP and Query Tool. The passwords change now every new release.
That's wrong, dude . It actually says: "For Password see the first post in the thread!" There's a Download Spoiler, containing the password you need.
Pass is still shown for the Tweaks and OEM folder downloads on same site as the Project and QuickCheck, but clearly hints where to find the pass for the latter.
I left the usertweaks and oems.7z as the original password as they not downloaded or updated as often.
Will keep the OEM's.7z as a separate download as well for now, so if any new wallpapers need to be added then it can be obtained to refresh them.
I know a bit earlier than expected, as my injury is healing nicely i could spend more time working on the project files. The final test with Windows 8.1 was successful. That only means one thing.... MRP 57.0, Query Tool v18.1 and updated OEMs-Only files are now uploaded and ready for action! See Change Logs within the respective archives for MRP and the QT have information on what been done. Query Tool had just one glitch that now has been fixed. Have altered the download spoiler it should now be clearer about passwords. REQUEST: Could any merciful soul with a non-english system and running MBR partition layout check this in admin CMD ....? Code: wmic partition where (bootable='TRUE' and name like '%%0,%%') get type /value ... and post the outcome. Would be very much obliged .

We are testing a new method to obtain UEFI, GPT and Secure boot , for a better detection in the QTool and MRP itself. GPT/UEFI/Secureboot always been a bit hit and miss using Virtual Machines, it wasn't so bad on Real PC's. If all goes to plan then QTool v18.2 will have a better detection rate than my previous attempts. Once finalized the code can be used within MRP as well. My personal testing of QTv18.2 on a Real PC has given good results - so far. Will post a beta QT for those who wish to test soon.
Just a few more checks to make sure it all works. Notes: On a real pc with secure boot etc it will detect that ok also UEFI mode and GPT Partition. However on a VM in EFI mode it will not detect Secure boot, not sure why, we have tried many methods. The good news is that it does now detect GPT and UEFI correctly on a VM using EFI and GPT partition. Dont think it really needs a beta, as once final tests done it will be ready to release. A slightly modified version of the code is in MRP 57.1 (Internal Testing), and results have been good too. This may be 58.0 candidate! The next MRP will not be released for a while yet (maybe after next patch day) , 57.0 has only been out for a few days Spoiler: Sneak preview of UEFI Real-PC and VM EFI project lines Code: VM with EFI and GPT - notice N/A on secure boot. [AMBMP] BIOS Mode: UEFI, HDD Partition Type: GPT, SBoot: N/A Real PC with UEFI, GPT and Secure Boot on. [AMBMP] BIOS Mode: UEFI, HDD Partition Type: GPT, SBoot: Enabled
@Enthousiast : if you have some spare moments, you might wanna check the convo for updated files for VMware EFI with working MSDM/SLIC tables .
After successful testing, Query Tool v18.2.5 is now available to download! First post updated with new password. See changelog.txt for details. Note as mentioned on a post above, on a VM in EFI mode Secure Boot's state will be not shown. On a real pc depending on the state of Secure Boot in your BIOS (enabled/disabled) you should see its state in the results. Also GPT, UEFI is now shown correctly if present, or if not then Legacy/MBR will be displayed. Little bug fixes been done, it should be a little bit faster. Once again a huge thanks to @s1ave77 for his knowledge of the FOR loops etc, without his help the QT and upcoming MRP would not detect the UEFI/GPT on a EFI enabled VM. Also you might be wondering whats all the fuss about a EFI VM, well it not just that, the new code is more accurate on a non VM (Real PC), for obtaining the UEFI/GPT information too so it is a win-win.
Since i cannot share the BIOS ROM files due to using generated keys, i thought it might be an idea to create a How-To do it yourself : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/how-to-vmware-slic-msdm-integration-for-mbr-efi-boot.74395/
Forgot to mention about {Method Used: 1} next to the MSDM key part in the QTool, it is not a bug, or left over line from testing, this is for diagnostic purposes, almost all of the time it will be Method 1, in very rare cases it will be method 3. All this indicates is which way the MSDM key was read and parsed to me if you posted a results log in the thread. It will not show your key on the saved report but it will still indicate what method was used. Example: Code: #9 SLIC OA: - Un-Listed #10 Installed PID Key: - Key Not Shown On Saved Report. #11 MSDM Key [OEM-DM]: - Not Shown On Saved Report. {Method Used: 1} #11 MSDM Edition Info: - Win 10 Core MSDM #12 BIOS Mode: - UEFI #13 Certificate: - Un-Listed #14 License Status: - Notification If no MSDM table/key is present this will be Un-listed as usual.
@mxman2k Code: #12 BIOS Mode: - UEFI It would be better to change it to 'Boot Mode' - just to be technically correct.
