I have been tweaking the GUI QT code for Vista/S2k8 (64bit) , in that it so far on my testing it no longer crashes with errors, however a lot of results do not show as can be seen by my report log below.

Without a lot of re-writing, which i not have time to do at this time, then for Vista/S2k8 OS's it would be better to use the old QT for data results.
    Code:

Have uploaded GUI QT 103.RC4 for beta testers. :)

The laptop used does have a SSD and AHCI set in the bios so obviously the queries are not being pulled correctly. But at least the program is not crashing as before so that is a result. :)

Graphics is not detected as such because i have not installed any drivers or WU files it is a clean install of a Vista 64bit SP2 untouched iso, so some results may be missing as no drivers etc installed.

Not sure why Build and Name are not showing but i guess that a wmi or registry issue on Vista?

I compiled the QT as 32bit and then as 64bit the 64bit crashed out with no messages at 60% when run!??

I was going to release both so that they are compatible with the OS architecture but it seems that plan is on the back burner now :(

Now the odd thing is that it run perfectly on the Vista 64bit then running the 64bit compiled exe -- all data shown ok...
Its odd that it not run on my 64bit win 10.... :g:

Obviously the later OS's (win7+) have better tolerance of the 32/64 overlays..

The 64bit exe crashes at 60% in the CPU stage... will look to see why...

There is some machine code created to obtain the ext flags of the cpu and it seems under 64bit exe it crashes totally. So until i can find a way to fix that then a 64bit only GUI QT will be on hold.

Wow64DisableWow64FsRedirection use out value as holder for later usage with Wow64RevertWow64FsRedirection

In batch script it seems easier to do things, but in c+ etc it not as straightforward as i thought.

Will have to read up on it more as it looks as though it going to bite me :D

I have been adjusting code in the gui qt, so there is a normal 32bit exe version and a 64bit only exe.

The 64bit fails on obtaining the cpu ext flags so it skips that section.

The report log now shows if it the 32 or 64 bit exe that been run.

I will upload these two test rc5 versions tomorrow morning gmt as not at pc now.

I took the redirection lines out as it made no difference as it seems it only for files being called in syswow64 or system32 folders when used in autoit ??

The machine code seems to be ok, however its the bitshift code that i not understand why it crashes out with some weird array subscript error which confuses me as it not using any arrays in that section. It works ok in the 32bit exe its only with a 64 compiled exe that not run properly. :g:

Have uploaded GUI QT v1.03 rc5 standard exe and the x64 only version for beta testers. :)

The 64 bit one will not show the cpu's extended flags such as SSE, SSE2 etc as until i can sort the bit checking code it will just show 'unable to define set x' , if i left the code in then on the 64bit exe it would abort around 60% progress.

The 64bit version is a temporary test and hopefully i can fix other issues with the standard exe so that it will work on both OS/CPU architectures.

Hopefully it not crash on Vista/S2k8 as before.

Thanks for testing and posting your results.

I know some information is missing in some areas, no idea why it does that when 64 bit compiled, it caused a few issues with w10 x64 bit too...

As time permits i will work on sections at a time to see if i can fix those missing queries.

The main thing is the crash/abort seems to be prevented for the time being. :)

Uploaded MRP 157 BT14 for beta testers :)

Updated the PreventTelemetry option with more tweaks to prevent data leakage...

Updated UnlockDefender option with extra data leak protection.

Fixed issue with the TaskBar 'End Task' option, although i am unsure if it will work on any edition lower than Education. But it now works for the current user and hopefully any new user created too. Until m$ decide to remove this developer item...

Updated Creator to re-establish the End Task option for win11.
