I didnt see the tiny text line about use 'previous setup' when main setup screen shows 'install windows 11' and 'repair your pc' on this 26100 setup...

Dell i think the support is Poland - one that slipped through the net as i usually have it go to the main .com brand site so it will hopefully give a choice for user's language preference.

Removed my post about the OEM's.7z file...

 

Fixed the Dell support data in the OEM's.7z file ready for next release.

Have gone through the main brands and corrected URL's etc, the non main stream brands i have not processed all of those and will address them when someone mentions the URL or other support data is wrong as there is too many to go through!

Sadly a lot i can no longer find the websites as the company's have either been taken over or no longer trading, so those i have checked with no new updated data will not show anything for support etc.

I have tried to find the new company that has bought out the original brand and used their info where possible.

Acer seems to have bought a lot of names, HP, Compaq, Gateway, PBell etc and so i have tried to link to their product legacy pages.

 

Just started on MRP v158

 

I wonder if the setup detects VM software in use and adjusts its parameters?

I downloaded the 26100 to test MRP on myself and it the first time i encountered this issue. But can get around it by clicking the 'use previous setup' but for how long will that be available as i guess m$ will change that too.

I had gone through mrp's code but saw nothing out of the ordinary, i thought it might of been a rogue update.

 

As we know a lot of consumer laptops etc are supplied with a home/core edition.

Plus updates are forced installed and not much user holding off like other editions until the user is satisfied the updates are ok.

With w10 being old hat now and w11+ being more worked on im sure its like with 7/8, they mess things up to make the end user think the device is knackered and buy a new pc.

 

Im still working on MRP v158 BT1 so i not uploaded it yet for beta testing that hopefully be tomorrow.

Only updated the tamperprotection data to show info correctly how it is setup.

Included the updated OEM's.7z with the support data either removed (when brand no longer online) or updated with new details where possible. Only main stream brands updated and the less known ones will be done on a when reported basis as it takes time to go through all the brands, 150+

Few other code tweaks as mentioned in the readme.txt file.
