Just a note to say the next MRP and QT has a new feature. My testers know what it is . Will keep you all in suspense for a bit longer. Testing is still ongoing for the moment...
The waiting will soon be over folks! MRP v58.0 as mentioned has not just one but now two new features!! More will be revealed once final tests are complete. With @s1ave77 's Idea, and help coding, well fixing my code is more the correct thing to say both features are now working, its technically experimental for the 2nd feature but my tests have worked - after many failures over 2 days!

Update: The latest baseline version fails with Win 8.1 Core. I just tried to install Win 8.1 on my HP lappy and it failed. Didn't even run at all. Here is pic of what was left in the setup folder...
Nope, it's needed, that's why i ask. In last tests with 8.1 Core and Pro it worked during several tests .
hmm The ei.cfg config i use for testing 8.x and 10 has only the contents below: Code: [Channel] _Default [VL] 0 The one in the current MRP baseline archive within 'win8.x - optional' folder has the following: Code: [EditionID] [Channel] OEM [VL] 0 Will update the ei.cfg in 'win8.1 - optional' folder to the top one that has worked under testing 8.x and 10.
I will give it a try again. I am also creating a custom recovery but that should not effect the outcome. I am using the same ole iso's I have used for years. Thanks for your input. Will let you know my results again once finished this morning.
So close now for MRP v58.0 & QT v19.0 In the process sorted Server 2008 R2 (w7 kernel) branding glitch too Final stage testing. Clues to Features: Theme and SLIC/MSDM..... Oh and another few tweaks... --- Edit --- QT is finalized. MRP on last stage, looks very likely unless something goes very wrong it will be a baseline release later today.
OEM Recovery Partition Creator for Windows breaks this project. Guess I need to get other recovery software that will work with branding.
