I have a hp645 ryzen 5 laptop but on boot the company logo comes up before any windows logo..hackbgrt adds hp logo but comes up after company logo..Any easy way of fixing?..Many thanks..ive upgraded bios burt doesnt change..Any way of doing using multi-oem / Retail Project?
Sadly mrp can't change that logo as it is stored in the bios itself. I know there was a logo changer for bios's but not sure if it for hp computers. I think if there is a tool to change logo back to the hp one or another, it will be found in the bios section of the forum. Bios tools sub forum If my memory serves me right.

Is it a fairly new machine? , if so it could have that autopilot system in which basically locks it to a brand or company. I got caught out with that on a dell laptop from a known british energy company who sold off the reps laptops but didn't unteather them so it was a task and half to bypass it.
It may not have autopilot enabled but it seems it has had that logo locked in maybe using similar methods as a forerunner to the autopilot system. Nothing is easy these days.
Working on a new Query Tool This is will be resizable too, although if you minimize it it will reset back to the minimal Gui size it started with. You can make it bigger. There will be no Min/Max buttons as that is a headache i not want to have at this time Hopefully will be DPI aware too, but that is on the to do list So far it just the basic GUI framework and a couple of test tabs and buttons but it is working. The new GUI QT will not be as extensive as the old version as it gets too much to keep up with, so this version will be stripped back to give basic information and what theme/activation etc much like the original non gui was when i took over the project. It will show what security suite is used (if any present), BIOS information and a few other bits, i may extend it as time goes on but as there are many other better system information tools on the net i see no reason to spend hours and hours coding a copy cat. Once i get the v2 GUI padded out a bit more i will post a screen shot and may even upload the alpha test for the beta testers , it wont be functional as such but will give an idea of the progress. The Current GUI Query Tool is at v1.05 and has been uploaded/update on post#2 , this will be the final one of that version branch.
Have uploaded GuiQT v2 Alpha1 for beta testers.. Is not functional as such and it just the initial concept/framework, you should be able to expand the gui and it resizes larger than default (1024x768) but go smaller than that it will spring back to 1024x768... Added two tabs, the theme one not do much only a test button thing... Some bits i have added in to test and they may or may not show data yet. A lot wont make it to the release version, i just padded it out with lines. The text adjusts (slightly) when resizing, but that needs more work. Click for larger image... I've added in the av checker but not called the function so no data shown. The keyboard info was copied in from gui qt v1.05 . Was amazed it actually worked as I had to find all the variable names and declare them first which was fun. Thanks for your tests. Does the resizing look OK. It not perfect but better than v1.xx gui.
GUI QT v2 Alpha2 uploaded for beta testers Filled out more information in the tabs (only 3 at moment)... Some results may get a bit wrong as just i have just slapped together the functions/routines quickly to pad the GUI out more. GUI Size is slightly smaller but you can resize bigger as before but go smaller than the default GUI and it will auto resize to the original default size. Added in DPI-Aware routine(s) but these are experimental and may not look good at over 125% scaling, i can't check that scale myself, so it guess work. There is no saving button at the moment it is just bare minimal for the time being while in alpha testing. As this GUI was written from scratch i am hoping it is easier to maintain and add things in as time progresses, although i not really want to go the v1 route and so it will be not as advanced as before - will have to see... SLIC detection is not written in yet so will just say not detected etc, MSDM not available at present at all so not shown at all. At 90% when checking the UEFI stuff it will take a while as it using Powershell and a LOT of parsing - on pre win8.x that bit should be skipped and so be faster showing the main results GUI. Not tested on anything before w10 --- so the QT v2 may fail, but to be honest supporting pre w10 is getting tougher as i have to do so many checks and code adjustments i may no longer support anything before w10 in this v2 gui, sorry but it takes too much time to debug and test etc.
On my pc setup at 125% and above the progress box during scanning the text is out of alignment but nothing i can do about that as that progress item is built in to autoit. But otherwise the GUI QT2 window's text looked ok , but it will get tested on my dell laptop that is set to 125% scaling as the screen is too small to read otherwise. But that will be tomorrow as been on the PC all day and need to rest.
Uefi side still needs tweaking as at the moment if mbr used instead of uefi it not mention the bios/boot mode. It will be updated for the next alpha test. At least the majority is working.
Just noticed that the slic name is detected. I must of added it in today when copying bits from v1 branch.
