Before my stay in hospital I had tried mrp on a preview image not remember the build and it stuck at 94 or 96% for ages. I thought it was the remove all apps options, the old preview build or just the pc I was using to test after 10 minutes I just turned off the pc and gave up.

I have had a few reports with these later preview builds that they not play nice with mrp.

Defender was one issue but I can't always blame that.

My test is with a config set up for a general install and not have everything selected.

Any extra options used are the newly added or updated ones I have not selected before.

So it could be a combination of factors that are occurring.

The remove all apps options can cause delays in the desktop appearing as there is a lot of error checking.

I can't guarantee it will fix the 9x% hang but I need to look at that the all apps options as ms may of combined more apps into others which have hidden or not so hidden consequences.

Seems still hanging... will run a test with the release ini (only show this pc on desktop option used).

The remove all apps options may be over kill on ltsc installs as they pretty much light on apps by default. Will need to do tests when I get time and see if I need to auto disable those options on enterprise and/or on ltsc.

Interesting it still hanging. But if it preview it could just be set to dislike mrp by ms so I can't get new options to work :D

When I get home I have latest mrp in the editor with some latest updated options I was working on.

Will get that compiled for beta testing , no idea if that will help or hinder. Not sure what I did as I not had time to make notes so will have to compare scripts to see what did.

    Still hanging at 94% :g:

Weird as no options as such are set and I doubt 'this pc' one will cause a hang surely, never has done.

    Unless it's a branding issue ??

I know ms been messing with that oem branding side at one time in the theme part, but I'm sure I tweaked that ages ago.

Did it get stuck at 9x% for ages?

All safe apps removal options can , as mentioned , slow down setup while it rechecks for errors using powershell hence why it slow.

I not want to use dism way as it can be very finicky/fussy and easily cause bsods if not perfectly parameter set.
