I found something like that starting from version 19045.3633. At that time I was dealing with WFC which suddenly stopped giving block notes and the warning popup also disappeared. I can't change the value of the registry unless I run regedit in system privilege.
Ok have set a flag that when OSType is 'Server' and not client then the Telemetry routine will not touch the WMI/Autologger parts, will compile MRP BT14 for testing shortly. I have no lines regarding: \EventLog-Application \EventLog-Security \EventLog-System In the routine so i am at a loss why those areas are being changed or permissions altered.
@Javac75 is that BiniSoft/MalwareBytes WFC ? If so i was having weird issues in that no block/allow xyz notifications was being shown which totally baffled me, not sure if it was a windows update which changed how it worked or the actual WFC program, i know a few updates to the WFC was made and it seems to have sorted that. What was odd is that i tried SphinxSoft WFC and that worked although i not liked the free version but notifications was shown to block/allow...
Yes. Change that registry value, everything runs normally again. I've been using WFC 6.11.0.0, and it didn't help much until I had to change the registry.
Uploaded MRP 159 BT14 for beta testers hopefully with the adjustments for the event logging issue for server installations only at this time. Note the telemetry routine will not be as extensive when this flag is set, but that should not be an issue with Server installations.
If that not resolve the event log issue then it will require more investigation but no 'autologger' sections are changed when the flag is set (server installation)...
Fingers crossed. I also skip some scheduled tasks that could affect things. For servers a lot are probably not used anyway plus servers need a bit of logging for admin maintenance and running.
Initial test seems fine, no visible errors! Also that issue I had with hidden taskbar search icon making search broken (where you could just press win button and type search word) is fixed, atleast on Server. Dont know if it always worked or whatever, but didnt on W11 last time i tried
No idea about the search bit, but I did change some code for hiding search box but that was for ltsx and possibly for win 11 24h2 in bt11/12.
Appreciate your work bud I did a second testrun with block ad/prevent telemtry only, created by BT5 and it was fine
Thanks for taking time to test for me as I'm not that clued up on Servers much. Also as a server installation should be stable and fully operational for the purpose it was designed for with little interference. It all helps keeping on top of those little or not so little changes ms like to make for sometimes no rhyme or reason.

Had blood tests Friday morning at 10.50am , my doctor called me in to see them straight after and then checked my lymph nodes on neck etc, then sent me on my way. Then at 3pm had phone call to pack overnight bag and admit self into hospital. Something called suspected lymphoma, so a biopsy is being done later today or tomorrow. Hopefully all clear, but symptoms are very close and this is why my doctor fast tracked the tests. Never a dull moment for me recently!!
