The reason it is compiled into an exe is to stop people fiddling with the code and then complaining it not working.

My predecessor of the project, (The_Guardian), designed it this way and I kept the same method and enhanced the project to what it is today.

Plus it keeps the code as standard and not have various versions that would confuse people.

The branding script is VERY sensitive to changes it is so easy to cause malfunctions!

The DeCompile.exe does various pre-checks before it extracts the required files, this is done to allow MRP to function, if certain checks are not met then MRP will run in RFM (Reduced Function Mode), this is mentioned in the changelog/Readme files.

Rare this should happen but the error checking is in place.

    *edited to clarify things*

Query Tool v22.3 Baseline, has been updated and uploaded. See first post for new password.

See Change Log for details, nothing major changed, just a few re-wording's been done and added the License channel - will ONLY show that info if the OS is activated/licensed.

Have tried to cover all channels available, Vista is not fully covered so for certain channels you may not see anything after Licensed.

    example: #14 License Status - Licensed {Retail Channel}

A new MRP is being tested, it is in Release Candidate stage at present.
-Tweaks to the branding stages, more informative of its process.

The New MRP is now in stage 2 of testing. Just finalizing wording. Layout of the log file has been changed a little, gives it a fresh look.

    Code:
    Multi-OEM/Retail Project Version : 170723-R60.1.2 - RC [MRP/MDL]

    Required project files extracted successfully.

DeCompile has detected a 'VMware' Virtual Machine.

    Enhanced Log Mode: Enabled.

OEM's folder detected, structure appears OK.

Stage 4 now  This hopefully is the final stage.:)

Due to a new Force_Theme error/parse routine the following OEM brands have had some filename changes within the brand's folder to be compatible with the new routine.

    Hannspree
    Impression
    PBell (Packard Bell)
    TwinHead
    WortMann
    Zoostorm

If you use the forced theme method to bypass MRP's standard theme/branding routine, you will need to use the new OEM's.7z file which will be provided as usual with a new MRP release, or you will get failure messages if using any of the above brands using the Forced bypass system with a previous version of the OEM's file.

When using the Forced theme method, please make sure you spell the brand name correctly within the Force_Theme_[readme].txt file, or MRP will inform you that something is wrong and will as a fail safe use the Windows default theme regardless if MRP had detected any brand name via its normal methods.

All other brands are not affected and for normal non forced you can still use the older OEM's.7z.

You can still use your own wallpapers, the file names affected was the logo ones such as brand_badge.bmp.

    Code:
    Multi-OEM/Retail Project Version : 170725-R60.1.4 - RC [MRP/MDL]

    Required project files extracted successfully.

The wait is over! --- MRP R61.0 has been uploaded.

See Changelog for the boring details. :p

First post updated with new password.

Also OEMs.7z has been uploaded too. No new wallpapers, just the edits to a few brand's logo filenames to be fully compatible with the new MRP.

Well here is a surprise :p.

    Another MRP release v62.0

    Uploaded.

First Post updated with new password.

Quite a lot of changes made, its also slightly faster too, only noticeable on Virtual Machines or slower computers, by approx 15%, not to be sniffed at!

Boring stuff in the change log as always.

Sorry for the short time since last release, wanted to get this one sorted as i can then have a timeout for a while, (not that i actually take a break lol).

ok doky, i'm sure the default ones will be there and not the 'branded' ones as the log does not mention the img100/105 being changed. :)

Heads up on MRP progress (yes i know i cant keep away from the thing lol), Server 2012 R2 now activates via SLIC!.

Still in testing stages at moment as other things being done too.

Servers are a slow process to test because of how they install etc, so it be a little while before the next MRP is ready.

MRP version 63.0 is in final stage!

So all being well sometime tomorrow, (Friday GMT), I will upload the new version. :)

    Thanks to:
@s1ave77 for testing Server 2012R2 activation and pointing out a little glitch, (which is now fixed).

@Enthousiast for testing normal OS's also the CUSTOM / Force_Theme method.

    Notes:
On Server installations, if the bios has a MSDM table, (even though it is not used under Server's), MRP will put a note about being in 'Reduced Function Mode' (RFM) in the 'checking MSDM' area of the log, (see spoiler below), this is normal and nothing to worry about. To sort that would require a total rewrite of certain sections which I will sort out at a later time, it isn't a 'bug' so is placed on the 'to do' list as it will take a bit of time to fix.

Fixed a glitch with the CUSTOM theme, sometimes MRP would throw up a error about incorrect name, this was a database spelling mistake for the custom 'brand', and not a script error, took me a little while to find that out!

Other boring code tweaks done along the way. Considering this was just going to be a baseline refresh, it turns out to be a bit more than a little tweak here and there.

    Code:
    Multi-OEM/Retail Project Version : 170810-R63.0 - Baseline [MRP/MDL]

    Required project files extracted successfully.

DeCompile has detected a 'VMware' Virtual Machine.

OEM's folder detected, structure appears OK.

    Enhanced Log Mode: Enabled.

    OS Installation Date/Time: 10/08/2017 -- 5:23pm

As promised, MRP v63.0 has now complete testing and has been uploaded.

See first post for new password.

See change log for the boring details. :p

Might of fixed the Reduced Function Mode (RFM) error on Server installs. :)

    ReadMe files also been updated.

Will get around to writing a proper "How to" at some point.
