Its your virtual pc that is the problem...I just activated in VMware without any issues so its on your end. I never use M$ crap like that personally because they tend to lock things down. Try using VMware with bios mod for ACER 2.1 and you will see that it does activate correctly.

Thank you very much for your patience. I'll test it with VMware, I'm curious now :). Don't know why doesn't activate on Vpc.
I think virtualization on this acer is locked. I'll try to unlock it or brick it! :(
    Thanks again!

Don't brick your machine...try VMware and use modded bios for VMware which you can find here at this site using the search at top right of forum. Just please don't brick your machine trying to unlock it. lol

I guess no one reads the first post which included virustotal results and explinations. lol It is protected now, to not only protect myself but MDL site as well. I know, most don't think or care about legalities but myself and others do. All AV results are false positives and will not hinder the install process. This is the way it is now and complaining will not change anything in the future. People complained when searchengine compiled the query tool/sync tool back in the day because of AV results as well and they got over it. Those who know me should not complain but instead understand and support it. Either you trust it (me) or you don't and in that case you don't have to use this project. ;)

Using protection also protects the end user from malicious software from being added to the project. It's a take and give in life.

    VirusTotal Results:
OEM Query Tool v4.8: 2/57 (Due to WinRAR SFX file. False positive, it is safe) 3.5% False Positives
Multi OEM Project: 10/56 (Due to decryption method. False positive, it is safe) 18.0% False Positives

These are not bad results if you think about it.

Updated first post with a silent update.
    Change log:
    Change log 01-19-2015 (silent update):
    -Encapsulated oobe.cmd file.

Now I can concentrate on adding more OEM's to the project. :)

No te apures The_Guardian, yo te lo explico para que entiendas, dice:
    "AnĂ¡lisis personalizado" :good3:
    Objeto: <path>OEM Query Tool v4.8.exe
    AnĂ¡lisis: 8 ficheros
    Amenazas: Ninguna.
    Bla bla bla

lol No really it says that your OEM Query Tool v4.8.exe it's clean. Obviously the scanning and output performed by the best A/V in the world, Kaspersky imao.

The query tool should be clean on most AV's since no protection is included in that and will not be in the future. I have no reason to protect it since no keys or certs are included in it and no install info. Its just a query tool. Just the project is protected. If I ever decide to release this project to another person I will of course share the needed to key to update it. I would not have another person start from scratch like I did...it took months to get to this point.

Just saying my friend. Why not to underline or highlight the SFX and encryption parts at the first post.
People's attention will be caught and less useless post will be added to the thread.

It is already...even if I increase font size, it would not make a difference. People only read what they want or they are in too big a hurry to read the post. I just wont respond to those questions/comments or I will be repeating myself over and over again. Lets move on.

Going to be adding the possibility of dumping the oem cert with the query tool, thanks to Alphawaves for coding new tool. I don't have time to test today but will test tomorrow. The query tool will then dump all needed info to do a oem install with branding if it isn't already included, for Vista/Win7. One tool to do all of this makes life so much easier. :) I will get back with everyone on this in the next couple days, after testing.
