I will make this very easy to understand... No motherboard will equal to: To Be Filled By O.E.M. lol But what it does is if equal to that value (can be blank like I did in oem query tool) it goes to next check. Assigning or no assigning does little difference here with the query tool. Here is a good way to know it works....if it doesn't work then every theme for every manufacture would say id '7' which is for bios instead of setting like mine says HP and theme is set to id '1'. The VOID's are not used in the query tool only the line below it....guess I could remove them but why....it hurts nothing other then making ppl curious. lol Searchengine just copied and pasted what he needed and the VOID's were included in that copy and paste but serve no purpose for the query tool. Note the webpage you linked to doesn't work but I am sure you are referring to old project and the void's were never assigned values nor were they removed. No reason to compile and upload for something that does not effect anyone or any machine. Think of it as being a placeholder.
Either way I am not recompiling and reuploading again for something that effects no one other then curiousity. All that is going to do is piss ppl off because they have to download again for something that has no effect. Plus I am tired of uploading everyday.....its break time. lol
If you liked that one then everyone will love this one.....I'm done here at MDL so my acct can be deleted. I did the hard work of making it open source so who ever wants to pick this up can. It's been fun but my time here is over. Take care everyone.
The "Thanks Link" (pastebin) is broken/removed. Where does one find the source for OEM Query Tool? or is that part of the project not open source?
Dear "cerberus8855", Clicking the link "Click here", it seems this alert: "This paste has been removed!" Regards
Hmmm .... slight confusion here, as it seems . RTM - Release to Manufacturer - which is a state of an OS release VL - Volume License Channel (OEM_DM, OEM_SLP, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT) - determines the licensing In this case Retail ISO would be what's needed. Enterprise is disqualified by not owning Retail or OEM Licensing Channels.
Only showed the thread to prove my claim regarding updated Win ISOs . But still a nice idea what Mr.X started over there .
