Got 3 new certs to add to the query tool and main project, thanks to 555LE. These three certs will be added to next update. Added 555LE to credits on first post.
Going to be adding support for project script folder can be added to index's in the ISO. As per requests. Note: Adding error output txt file to %SystemDrive%\ (PROJECT_FAILURE.txt) to let us know if a failure occurred within the decompile.exe. Stay tuned...busy day. Testing now...
Well the error handing worked. lol Seems I introduced a small bug....corrected it and testing again. I noticed the uefi boot is broken in the new win 10 tp 10056 build. Hopefully M$ fixes it for next release which should be a RC. Ok, project works normally...now to test adding the script folder to one of the indexes to see if that installs correctly. Guess what? More testing. lol
Had a bug in the 4-11-2015 main project. Corrected now with new link. Change log 04-11-2015 (Silent Update): -Had to increase admin rights so not to error on some OS's, sorry about that. -Updated query tool v7.2 build 2 to address slic and msdm table present.
No not as of yet and then Smorgan will have to adjust his script for the oem part and I don't think he is that far into it yet. It is on his to do list though. This project can install your key, cert and apply branding but Smorgan's project isn't quite yet finished.
Once your post count is high enough then you should see the thanks button in lower left corner of post. After hitting thanks button then you will be able to download. I don't know the exact number of posts you have to make since forum rules have been being updated this month. If nothing else you can always check the forum rules section to see if any info on post count is listed. I don't run the site here nor am I staff so I don't know for sure.
They should see the thanks button even with the post count of 0, so I'd guess that maybe they're not looking at the bottom of the post where the rest of the thanks are displayed
I have a results.txt for my Windows 8 file, do you want me to remove my key from it or post it as it is(I assume its a generic key)
If win 8.x then I don't need to know it because if it is a legit oem machine that came with win 8.x then that is your key only and should be removed from the Results.txt file before posting it to avoid blacklisting. If just a installer key (generic as you put it) then I don't need to know that either but that is of no risk of blacklisting because those are just installer keys.

First off, nice machine. I see you have a msdm table so I take it you "had" the key listed in #11 MSDM TABLE section. This project will brand and oem activate that machine without issues. The project will dump your msdm table key (oem-dm key) and apply it during the oobe phase of win 8.x install and apply your asus branding. You are good to go. You should have uefi enabled on that machine in your bios but I see the query tool shows it as Legacy/MBR bios and hdd. Do you have uefi turned off in your bios? I am just curious as to why it shows Legacy/MBR is all. This will not effect your activation or branding. I am just curious is all. Can you check this reg entry and see if "1" is listed? HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SecureBoot\State If its not listed in registry then it is turned off in your bios. Most machines you can turn it off but usually it is turned on by default. Thanks
Yes I removed it from the results file, the key was in 3 places. I assume its legacy because of 2 reasons, when I made my own iso I think I missed out making it UEFI compatable, then the dvd drive will not show up in boot menu unless you disable some option in bios, I think its secure boot. Also I wanted to us the 8.1 OEM i currently have on a seperate pc that I have a purchased OEM key for with no branding, if I add this OEM folder will i mess up the install of the non Asus plain OEM pc? I still havent tried the Windows 7 pc I am selling yet which was the whole point of me coming on the site lol.
Ok, thanks for that reply. If media isn't uefi enabled then that is why it would not install in uefi mode. I was just making sure the query tool didn't have a problem is all. Your machine does have secure boot so it can use the uefi install media but you have to set it all up first in your bios. If you wish to use it then do a simple google search to find info on installing OS with secure boot option enabled. It is tricky if you haven't done it before but everything must be setup correctly for it. Anyways, have fun installing and I wish you well. You might want to test if adding the $oem$ folder to that oem disk to see if any issues arise. I recommend testing in VMware or similar before proceeding on that (it wont activate but you could then tell if installation works or not). I really cant say because all oem manufactures do their disks differently. When you get ready to address the win 7 machine do the same and run the query tool first to make sure it has included shared oem slp key and matching cert. You know the drill now. lol
Yes loader is used looks like. Plus it looks like you modded the slic into the bios. It will brand and oem activated according to ACER instead of ASUS motherboard. Also the CR was enabled and corrected the conflict which is great. You are good to go. I would remove the key from that post thought so not to get in trouble. You don't need to remove the loader first because you are going to re-format it so it will be wiped.
