New user here Just finished my introduction. I'd like to report that the tool works great with my MSI GT60 notebook (UEFI BIOS with OEM-DM key) and also for both my HP desktop (Win7 OEM BIOS) and notebook (also UEFI BIOS). Without slic (vista and win 7) you would need to add a setupcomplete.cmd with windows loader by Daz. If you have uefi (msdm with oemm key) then this project will activate that one. You must either have legacy bios (with slic) or uefi bios for activation.
Check out Windows loader thread by Daz and download it....once downloaded read the readme.txt file which has instructions for adding loader script info into setupcomplete.cmd file which you use notepad and make sure to set save as all file types so it holds .cmd extension instead of .txt extension. Not hard at all my friends.
Hello M&J...did you use the Dec 25, 2014 version? If you know it is the newest version used then run the query tool and save results.txt and post here in spoiler so I can look at it please and thank you. If you used an older version then try with the Dec 25, 2014 version.

Updated first post to correct blank entry in bios which set man as nothing (windows default branding). 12-28-2014 -Thanks M&J Hold up on downloading new version if needing for modded bios....still has a issue it seems. Stay tuned... Anyone with modded bios that wishes to test the new query tool to see if it not only activates but applies branding, pm me and I will send link to new query tool. If I can get query tool to work correctly with modded bios then all I have to do is add that to oobe.cmd but I cant test this for I don't know anyone with modded bios.
I am going to take a break from this for a while. Seems everyone is editing the script themselves so I have no idea what problems ppl face with their custom versions. Since this is the case it is almost impossible for me to determine who has what edited. I will be back in a week with hopefully some results....if not then I will remove my editing for modded bios since this is the main problem. Hope everyone has a fun but safe New Years. Note: If modded bios then use force theme txt file to do your branding. All these custom builds have different info in the bios, different from oem which there is a standard and easier to get the info. I have added more to ini file to correct acer, gig. and few others but like I said, its different info for custom build machines. Also if you do your own editing don't bother trying to get me to troubleshoot it for I cant....I don't know what all others have edited so it makes it virtually impossible for me to troubleshoot. Also, if you don't have your video card drivers installed then monitor tool cant get correct resolution for it has only windows default. Best way to avoid this is to install your drivers during audit mode. It will have more chances of correct resolution then.
