    Used this on my neighbors computer this morning and he likes win10...his was an upgrade from win8.1 but all seems to be working like it should so no ill side effects from new method used. I don't expect ill effects personally because nothing is modded or removed. That's why I didn't want to go that route like others. This is better for the stability of the OS.

    Think what you are wanting to know is the bios queries for included certs, right? If so then look at this...

    You might want to open your own thread to get help since this isn't related to this project but one you are compiling. Just a suggestion.

    Windows 10 logon background (normally solid color) which we change to image will not work when updating to KB3081424. It is being worked on as we speak. Update will come soon.

    You are a member since late 2009, only 11 posts from you and you dare to make such stupid statement? And without any remorse or doubt, no questions asked to the dev or other members whatsoever. :thumbdown:
    But above all, to read. Reading instructions, firsts posts, etc are very important for your information.
    I frankly found very offensive that statement from you, an elder member from MDL.

    It's all good Mr.X. I think the key word in this conversation is "reading".

    Good .. First thank you for this most excellent contribution .. It's my first comment. I would like to comment that the links do not work they put me .. Then in the x64 version does not load the page of Google only on x86 if you could tell me why ... (English translated an apology for)

    ---------------------------------------------

    Buenas.. Primeramente agradecer por este excelentisimo aporte.. Es mi primer comentario. Me gustaria comentar que los links que ponen no me sirven.. Luego en la version x64 no carga la pagina de Google solo en las de x86 si pudieran decirme el porque... (Ingles traducido una disculpa por ello)

    @mathan

    The problem is and it has been stated time and time again, Most antivirus can flag a genuine file as suspect. Its a bout time noobs such as yourself started to understand the process with antivirus software.

    Just try using a Winpe builder project with virus protection switched on and come back and tell me , so and so file has a virus, Gee wake man.

    Bit harsh. He is a noob for making that statement after so many pages have been written. However, I have been on MDL for years too and prefer to read posts and figure things out versus asking lazy questions. So my post count is low too. Not all of us who are long time users choose to speak. I, for one, am leery of people claiming false positives all the time. In this world where millions are hacked in computer thefts, it's better to be careful than just take people's words for it. I usually like to make sure that the files are from a long time member who has a good rep and maybe a hash enclosed to double check before I feel comfortable with certain tools. Luckily, MDL has many helpful contributors that take the time to explain and help others out on their own time. Longtime contributors are an invaluable and integral part of MDL, or it would not exist. But no need to turn this forum into console forums where people just hurl insults left and right. Just my 0.02.

    @runnyeffsham,
    The reason some get touchy, if you will for lack of a better word, is because ppl mention the same things over and over again and we end up repeating ourselves. Ppl should learn to read first and then if they cant find the info they are looking for, then ask. Ppl usually say the same thing over again and it gets frustrating repeating ones self. I hope you understand. No one meant anything bad, it just gets frustrating is all. Take care and have a wonderful day. :)

    I have some questions...if anyone has done a win8.x (legit oem-dm key activated only) upgrade to win10 (generic retail upgrade key) then tried this multi oem project do a fresh install of win10? The reason I ask is I have read online where some have tried using their win8.x oem-dm key and it fails of course but doesn't get generic retail key that is tied to your hardware. Then they have to contact M$ to straighten it out (pita). The multi oem project will extract the win8.x oem-dm key and try to apply and will fail also thus causing activation problems possibly if this is true, just like if you entered the key in by yourself. Of course it will fail but will win10 try to grab the retail key once online or not? Again, this is for the upgrade from win8.x (legit oem activated) to win10. I haven't tried this yet myself because of school apps have up to win8.1 support, not win10 so I am stuck with win8.1 for now until apps update.

    Guess it boils down to, does the multi oem project break upgrade activations by trying to use the oem-dm key from win8.x during the install? Will it still try to find hwid or not at all?

    Maybe I should add a file to represent if user has upgrade (with a win8.x oem-dm key) then to skip the oem-dm key activation so not to interfere with the activation process, if needed.

    I have a feeling this is going to be confusing for the oobe.cmd file.

    Note: This is not an issue with upgrade from win7 to win10.
