The oem:Dm key is windows version specific so you need to make sure you have correct windows version to install but yes, if oem:Dm key is in bios the project will dump key and apply it. You Must make sure you use correct windows version that matches key though. Run the query tool first to make sure the machine is supported.

I have a feeling that his bios was flashed with a mod to include slic. Not sure but if he would post the results.txt file from query tool it would help to make a final conclusion.

Rule of Thumb for bios modding...if you have a Dell get a Dell Mod. ;)

This is not the whole operative system that you download and burn to iso.
You need to download to your computer the whole Windows dvd or iso you "already" have and put in one temporary folder.
Then you download the 3 zipped folders (links from the first post), in the 2nd folder there are all instructions you need also read from first post, you need to add OEM folder etc. etc.

If ppl use the correct oem mod it will work. If Dell then use a Dell bios mod...if HP use a HP bios mod. If you miss match the bios like Dell using ASUS bios mod then you have to use force theme txt file.

Bottom line...if bios mod matched oem then it works so this isnt nothing to do with this project but end users not applying the correct bios mod for that oem manufacture.

I bios modded my wife old lappy which was Compaq, I used a HP bios mod for Compaq (HP is the same as Compaq, HPQOEM bios id) and it themed correctly and activated win7 so if the end users that are not modding correctly. This isnt a issue with this project but end users using wrong bios mod.

Repeating myself on every page. lol

Note: I have not touched the theme or activation part in months so the project isnt broken but end users not applying the correct bios mod is all.

More then likely vmware 12 changed reg entry is what I would think. Can you check since you have it installed and look for this reg entry...
    "HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SystemInformation" /v "SystemManufacturer" | findstr /I "\<VMware\>"

Please and thank you. I am not home to download the new vmware so your help would be great.
