>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Actually it's KB2934018 that is offered, unfortunately WU doesn't show this, can be noticed by checking the size .
Short answer, yes you should. The missing update in 2919355 is 2934018. When you update that hotfix, it will remove the listing for 2919355. Be careful not to mess with resetbase or anything before installing 2934018. I had a sfc error during testing when I made a resetbase'd version of the 3 non-pending updates before installing 2934018. Either install them all before doing resetbase or just don't do resetbase.
I know exactly how you feel man... When I installed the brand-new iso and saw like 150megs of updates I was like "WTF MS???"
I downloaded from tpb. The X64 ISO is B9D9.ISO and the X86 ISO is Win81AIO-S14-20in1-x86-en-US-Mar2014.ISO. Are these the same as the first two on page one of this thread? Thank you
@murphy78 i downloaded all the updates KB2919442, KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2937592, KB2938439, and KB2934018 and i'm trying to install them , the msg shows up and telling me that : update for windows (KB *******) is already installed on this computer what now !!!
Any mirrors of Wind 8.1 Update 1 AIO x86 & x64 ESD , I can't get it from torrent i get hashfails. I hope for an p.m.
I installed both the Windows 8.1 Professional VL with Update (x64) - DVD (English) and Windows 8.1 Professional VL with Update (x86) - DVD (English) files from this thread, and hashed were verified. I was surprised that after installing both new versions that the last patch Tuesday has around 2GB of updates. I would have thought I was darn near up to date. Was that normal for last Tuesday with the new 8.1 Update 1 fresh install?
Office 2013 w/SP1 on both, visio on 1 Seems there was about 1GB dedicated just to Win8.1 update 1 though.
Nope, most updates must be for Office (as long as no other language for Windows was installed) there are only few updates KB2934018 (126 MB) as this is missing in the ISO Code: ComputerName Date KB Title ------------ ---- -- ----- 666-PC 12.04.2014 03:48:38 KB2933809 Update für Windows 8.1 für x64-Systeme (... 666-PC 12.04.2014 03:48:35 KB2942844 Sicherheitsupdate für Internet Explorer ... 666-PC 12.04.2014 03:48:33 KB2894853 Update für Windows 8.1 für x64-Systeme (... and some Defender related stuff plus MRT. All in all ~250 MB.
murphy78, should we expect from you Windows 8.1 / Server 2012r2 with Update VLSC Magnets ? Thanks in advance
actually this huge update for office 2013, for visio about 465mb, that's happend with me few days ago
as i mentioned i already download en_windows_8.1_professional_vl_with_update_x64_dvd _4065194.iso which contains the updates, perhaps nobody notice that
OK, I think I have everything at hand, I just don't know if my problem can be solved. Goal: WU satisfied image (no updates related to Update 1 show up), with 1 additional language besides English already embedded. What I have: MSDN English image, Update 1 already applied (of course without 2934018). 2934018 missing from image as it came out later... RTM language pack of additional language language pack update for Update 1 Can it be done without booting the image prior to installing on target machines, and if so, what is the correct order for adding packages? Thanks
Unless they have different SKUs, no. The files have different names but the same contents if you hash check them. The different filenames would make the magnet mismatch, but you could just rename the msdn versions after downloading if you really want to.
