I can never finish the download for the x64 version of 8.1 from Mega. It always gets stuck at 24-26%.

Firefox plugin didn't work, got stuck again at 37%, however Chrome did work. Odd.

I don´t get any error downloading from Mega. On the last 3 days I downloaded 9 files without error.
    I´m using Jdownloader 2 Beta.

Noob question, how do you activate these with the Microsoft Toolkit? Is there a tutorial thread somewhere?

    1. Run Microsoft Toolkit.exe.
    2. Press Readme button.

    Murphy to the rescue.... hopefully

Murphy78 I need your expertise badly. I have an Asus G750JW gaming laptop with dual hdd/ssd bays. I was following a guide that linked to your 8.1 iso page... to do a clean install on a new 840 pro. The laptop came with windows 8 and I upgraded to 8.1 before I got the ssd. I got my key from the bios to use for the install.

I needed the oem single language (eng) and it wasn't in .iso format and couldn't figure out how to convert those esd files. So I used the very first link on that page of yours that said "multiple versions." I thought the core version would be in there. So I downloaded that and burnt it to a usb drive and installed it on my ssd. Problem is that it was 8.1 pro and my key doesn't work with that... obviously.

I just got the damn ssd all unallocated again after a big headache. Also, is there a version of the single language 8.1 in iso format? I'm just learning all this stuff so I'm not to proficient with what to do. I'm learning as I go. But right now I'm so close and I just need the iso format. If you could help me out, please be detailed. The pastebin link I followed has links on pastebin to mega but they no longer work.
    Thanks bud :v:

Why is the ISO of Professional with Windows Media Centre not here or on MSDN either?

Because you're supposed to activate a pro version and *upgrade* to WMC version.
The esd is in abbodi's thread also.
They were designed to be used similarly to the way we use them, but I believe MS modifies the files a bit when you let the download program decrypt it for you.
They might add activation info or something to the iso. I'm not really sure. I just know I've had errors trying to use their decrypted versions.

So the ones I see floating around (ISO's of Win 8.1 Pro + WMC) are all homemade and not from Microsoft? Scary...

It depends what they've done to make them. If they simply decrypt the downloaded esd using abbodi or my's decryption script, then they're fairly unmodified.
If they convert a pro to prowmc using dism /set-edition:professionalWMC it's also fairly harmless.
These are literally the only way to get an un-modified prowmc images

You could also do a sysprep/capture of an installed prowmc image, but that's a really bad idea as it would have at the very least, your pro installation id information in the data.dat activation file.

There used to be a proWMC exploit where you can use a free key that was given during the initial 8.0 prowmc offer, but they stopped that offer last year and, although there are still a few legit keys roaming around,
it's widely considered much safer to just use a KMS activator like AutoKMS and set the gVLK with slmgr.vbs

You might have a corrupt iso. Have you compared the hash with msdn's hash?
