Paul's are the full iso.
My torrents here have the english iso and delta patches to convert to the other languages in a sfx to automate the process.
While Paul's is much faster for a single language download since you don't have to download anything extra, the ones in my torrents are much preferred for people who are collecting all the different languages.
The reason is that the difference between the english versions and the other versions is only 10% or so, so the patches can be very small in some instances.

The result isos are exactly the same. You can verify your hashes with msdn's download center and a simple hash tool like hashtab.
While hashtab is my preferred method since it is really handy to have, we also have a hashing tool in the mdl projects section by one of our own devs that will show you the sha1 hash as well.

Basically if the sha1 hash matches, it's the exact same file contents. The name or date can be different, but the contents are what's important. For instance you could call it:
evildvd.iso with the date 6/6/666 and have the contents be unmodified and the sha1 will match. You then just change the filename and it will match. This is important because MicroSoft often
issues the same iso with different names for volume customers. In fact, I don't believe I've seen an OS version that was VL specific that didn't match a MSDN counterpart's sha1, but I haven't checked them all.

 

You should be able to just use the latest Microsoft Toolkit from the MDL projects section of the forum.
Click the little Windows Icon when it opens.
Click the Activation tab.
Click the EZ-Activator button.

That will install autokms, the autokms daily/logon/startup task, and activate the system.
If you ever experience a problem with activation, it would likely be due to Windows Defender blocking some or all of the autokms.exe functionality.
You can go into Windows Defender settings and "Allow" the 'C:\Windows\AutoKMS\Autokms.exe' program pro-actively and not have to worry about it.

If you wait until it bugs you, you might have to deal with de-quarantine'ing and restoring the file.
CODYQX4 has made a point of not messing with your system settings, like making an elevated program to set the registry key for you.
You should try things out for yourself. If you get stuck, you can comment in the MTK thread, where many people can help you.

As far as Windows Update, the defender updates are the only thing you'd need to worry about.
If you do the allow thing I mentioned, you should be able to leave updates on 24/7 without worry.

 

I assumed you were asking about Windows Updates, which break all hacktivator systems.
Back when Win8.0 came out a bunch of idiots installed hacked system files and then used Windows Update and couldn't figure out why it was a bad idea.
Microsoft Toolkit doesn't modify any system files, so it's safe.
