None lol. I just need the pro vl since I won't be needing the extra features on the enterprise one (which is always a VL right?)
Afaik there's only a tiny difference in behavior. Although both can be activated using VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel, the VL version will seek reactivation automatically by design, whereas the Retail version would need a script and task to do. As most use MTK or KMSpico this shouldn't matter.
Do you mean it has the dns auto-discovery seeking stuff turned on automatically? I forget what it's called.
Not sure about the specific difference. Was discovered by playing around with KMSServerService and automatic reactivation via 'sri' some time back.
so guys it is possible to update running win 8.1 to win 8.1.1 with the iso just like with .msu files can mtk do i ? and how ?
For being here quite some time, an interesting question . Boot it from burned DVD or bootable usb-pen, choose 'Upgrade existing Windows' instead of a fresh install. You might need to reactivate with MTK afterwards. =============================== Why not simply install the updates from the package?
1- already know that you can upgrade by booting the iso just thought that it was possible to upgrade with a "tool" and using mtk here for activating win vl and office vl 2- about the package cause already have the updated iso and thought no need to download the same thing but it seems the package is the way to go, will have to download the .msu files cause the upgrade could be dangerous and the package is safer not to lose any files/settings thanks for the reply
Hmm... I wonder if the registry hack works to be able to use the keep programs and settings option. Does anyone remember it? something like nt version changing to Win7 or something?
