Is windows 8.1 core single language the same as 8.1 core single language with bing? I had an OEM vaio thrust upon me and am saddled with this single language nonsense. The only place where something called core single language exists is the MS media creation tool but sadly not updated. Murphy 78's iso contains the core SL with Bing but does it accept the keys for SL only?
Thanks for that clarification murphy78, much obliged. Now for the next question- is there any updated iso of the SL floating around, in case you know. Just wanted to be honest and utilize the oem key.
Read the OEM preservation stickie and then just use my AIO. Make sure you install the correct edition and then change key post-install to the key from your UEFI.
There are a few that modify winpe files. You can pretty much integrate everything that you'd normally integrate into your system into the winpe and just do a /resetbase afterwards. There's also a newer update that modifies setup files, something like 3000668 or something. abbodi mentioned it, but I forgot where.
hello i need the oem iso file that suits my hp sleekbook 14 that comes with win8 preinstalled im confused ,i need to reinstall win 8 in my laptop i dont have any recovery files and disks
I have no idea what OS your system came with. If it came with Core Single Language, there's a good esd download/script in the esd decryption stickie. If it came with Core Connected (with Bing) there's a .img leak floating around.
based on all the blog posts i read i think my hp came with win8(not 8.1) core single lang,(i think core connected with bing is a type of win8.1 bcoz i bring my laptop in 2012 dec) please give me the link of that esd download !! will that esd download can read my bios embedded key and activates ??? thanks for helping bro
You should read the Preserve OEM activation stickie and use the tool to make sure the edition and write down the key.
