    I first heard that song a couple years ago and was struck by its profound melancholy. I thought it was a newer song but read later that it was recorded nearly 50 years ago.

    The performer apparently suffered from depression and committed suicide, which makes the sad song even sadder knowing that. It was a very sad day when I heard about EFA11 and that song fit the mood.
