    Hey
During a recovery of my Acer desktop, one of my additional HDD's is now shown as an EISA, and is impossible to assign a letter to in Vista adm. tools. It has nothing to do with my recovery partition - its on a seperate partition on my primary HDD. The disc contains photos, MP3's etc.... (no backup :-( )

    Que?

    Best regards
    Steen

You have to use PTEDIT to modify the partition type back to NTFS.
